Locked boot loader and blocked root don't mean shit. Look at moto they try left and right to block root and we get in them every time (Droid x and x 2, Droid 2, razor, ext) If there is enough interest in the phone it will be rooted.

AnonD-39775, 18 Jul 2012i will not buy this trash even with 8 cores at half its act... morethere is a cheaper one,the new MX dual core,only ￥2399,which is cheaper then 4 core version for ￥600.The new dual core version is change the processor to 32nm 1.5ghz，Lower heat, higher performance，and other configurations are identical.It only cost $376 ,and u can have almost the same experience.

HTC was unheard of 5 or 6 years ago. It won't surprise me if Meizu becomes a household name before long. Same with Samsung, they were unheard of 10 years ago when Nokia and Ericsson were kings!

Just about to buy a Samsung GS3 (unlocked) for £480 here in the UK when a friend of mine visiting London from Hong Kong showed me his new MX4. Overall I'm impressed with its speed and build quality although it's made from plastic. It's very smooth without any lag and I've no problems with the UI. Battery life is good with moderate use. I've now asked him to leave the phone with me and get himself a new one when he gets back to HK. Not bad for £247!

This phone aint bad, but as GSMArena said, they removed lots of nice ICS features. For example, you cant change the default launcher, browser, email client and other apps from the default. They also locked the bootloader and blocked root (even on the HK version) on the latest 1.0.1 update. (They also released a new MX dual-core fixing the hardware faults of the previous, so in a way i actually bought a prototype).
Read a bit on meizume.com before you buy it, and see how other people experienced their phones. You might find out that if you like customizing your phone, this might not be the best buy.

After that they released MX dual-core, MX quad-core, and another dual-core MX (which is stupid in my eyes).

I think if no radio it's and non replaceblae okay but non expandable storage and poor viewing angles is big problem.
