Meizu MX 4-core review: Twice the power

Chinese products still have lot to be improved... the only thing i like about this product is quad which may promise faster speed compared to other single or dual core devices. Does anyone know that Meizu is a company who made a product named iOrange which used same design with iPhone4, with android in it? Of course it was such an ugly product, and I don't know if Meizu has turned their face into developing real products(not copycats), but that design of Meizu MX(which is WHAT WE ALL KNOW), still seems to tell that they couldn't break the original inclination of borrowing already-created ideas.

Gsmarena found it to be one of the best on the market. It even comes with spdif. No updates? Right at the beginning of the review, gsmarena mentions it comes with ics based flyme 1.0, with the 1.0.1 update available for download. Bad image quality? Its actually quite decent.
I bought this phone in HK and I must say i'm very impressed. Just like GA, I'm impressed with what theyve done with the software. The attention for details is amazing for a chinese company. But on the plastic part I have to disagree with GA, while it certainly is plastic, Meizu added a crystally look to it. Which makes it look less cheap imo (but a bit more feminine, especially with the colored covers). Also, the feel and the sound when you tap the back cover does not nearly sound as cheap as the GS3. Btw, unlike the specsheet at the beginning, the quad core comes standard with 32gb instead of 16. So it's alot of value for your money. The phone and screen of the GS3 and OneX was too big for me, so this 4" beast is perfect for people who wants performance and not have to carry around a ginormous phone. Not to mentioned the price is really really good.

I have to admit there are lot copycats in China, but Meizu spend a lot of effort to fight their way to be top mobile manufactory. have a try to its products, you will have a totally different image

AnonD-39775, 18 Jul 2012i will not buy this trash even with 8 cores at half its act... moreI am sorry for all this Chinese defective product,I think it's most Chinese company 's sin ,unfortunately the very few good company have to atone for them,but I have to say ,Meizu 's unlike any other companys in China,it has glorious history at MP3 times,owns a lot of fans in China,but Meizu still is an small factory,it's usually release just 1 product per year,but every one is excellent,you 'd better hands on a Meizu product.

Unbeatable pricetag for a full blown smartphone in terms of hardware. The only thing Meizu has to do now is focus on keeping up with hardware while improving software and support. I hate to say it, but design also needs to be changed in order to avoid lawsuits from Apple.
The really funny part is that Apple's next iPhone will be very close to this one in terms of hardware, dimensions and design. It's like a next generation replica.

i will not buy this trash even with 8 cores at half its actual price. number of cores is not the only specification to define a smartphone. all these chinese crappy tiny products have the lowest audio quality speakers and earpieces,you can barely hear it in the street,no gsm signal,bad battery life,no reselling unless you'll give it away for 80 euros,no service points,no aftersales support,no updates,no image,no high grade materials,infernal bad photo-video camera,no nothing. it is very rude from meizu to put a such price for such a joke. i had a very bad experience with a huawei smartphone and a huawei tablet,i wanted literally to throw them on the open window !!! and my brother the same with a zte crap. The box of accesories of these chinese jokes,all of them,the charger,the usb cable,the always crappy headphones have a very very bad plastic and stinks so bad so you should make skin and pulmonar cancer
