Buy sony and you won't regret! ( sony is the best company i ncustomer care and update, the gave ics update to the whole xperia 2011 even 180$ phones and they run so smoothly and also they will give jellybean to xperia 2011! so just realize how much they give a lot of goodies to the customer even if he has limited budget!!

Galaxy Note user here. I'm a bit jealous right now.

Non-pentile screen, more sensitive pen, awesome processing power.

Only complaints I could ever have are that it doesn't have a 12 MPix camera, but to be honest the Note camera is good enough anyway. It's better than good actually. And that they cut that 80pixels bar and made the screen thinner, but even that... gah, I couldn't complain. With a non-pentile display who cares, it compensates for it 200%.

If I wouldn't have the Note, I'd buy this.

But since I already have that, I'll patiently wait for the Note III. I'm not like a certain species of phone owners who preorder the next version or even a minor upgrade of their phone before they even know how it looks like except from leaked cases and stuff :)

                        So..
Should I shift to a windows phone 8 smartphone or to an android powered sony phone? And why are sony phones lag free? :)

JELLY BEAN 4.1 smoothness (4.0 was very smooth, but 4.1 is running so fast and lag free totally but most of people don't know that!!!!) try it! ANdroid 4.1 is totally lag free and i can assume that! android 4.1 was made to be the best competitor of wp8 smoothness but most of people did not even tried jellybean

                              Wrong benchmark result:P
Galaxy note 2 is running JealyBean, So display is running at 60 fps needs more procesor and GPU. While Sony Xperias are running 4.0.4 screen at 30fps. Benchmark agian when Eperias will get 4.1:DDDD

lol... this company try to start cheat the customers.. Why not compare the benchmark with the phone with S4 quad SoC? scare lose? i tot note 2 will come with exynos 5,and now it just a iphone4s strategy,.

The more i see of this phone the more i want it:
                                      - 16:9 brighter sharper screen
                                      - Thinner narrower device
                                      - Better looking and probably better build quality
                                      - 4G LTE
                                      - 2GB Ram + Quadcore = fastest phone in the world
                                      - 64GB + 64GB = most storage on a phone
                                      - Improved battery
                                      - Improved S Pen and functions
                                      - Better camera (I assume its like the S3)
                                      - JELLY BEAN 4.1 smoothness baby!!!

The haters have gone awfully quiet... :-)

ps where are the people complaining about the slightly lower resolution after reading this article?

I've been waiting for it to show what it is capable of and i was damn right to wait. Galaxy S3 not even close. But still I am a little bit disappointed with the camera and the screen though sharper than the original note (I expected no less than a 1080p). And the LTE version why add a chip? why not use the reference on the market (Snapdragon S4 krait quad core).
I guess i will have to wait for the Galaxy Note III.
