OG+JB = best android phone released for 2012.
Gotta be real on your OS updates, LG.
anybody saying this phone would still be desirable if released with ICS as updates would surely follow have never owned an LG phone before.
i've had 2x and 3D, it took LG ages to roll out OS updates on both phones...until they did a motorola on their users...no more updates.
still, awesome phone LG! my money goes where JB is though.

Hopefully, LG will update thier UIs like Optimus G. I love the UI and I hope L-Series will get an update, especially to my L3. :D

updating your phone is only A bunos.
if you want optimus G.? GO buy one, but if you are not satisfied with its actual spec.? out of the box don't but it!

Has a big screen and looks just like an iphone.. im getting this for sure. I have read so much information on this. Best phone i can think of is LG.

We are on GSM arena, we are NOT your typical android user, we are POWER users. So dont give me that lame excuse. I want top quality execution on everything from a manufacture. That means the best hard hardware AND software experience, BS "updating your phone is a bonus", IT IS EXPECTED! Get real. Yes, Im going to wait until the US launch, I hope Im wrong. If the camera is still this bad hello GS3.

41mp cam.

People who are stupid enough to say anything bad about this phone look upon LG's problems regarding updates, and they say from the start that this phone is no good, even if it is the best phone on the market. I hope LG will realise that they have a real problem regarding these OS updates, and when they will solve this, LG will be the king of android phones. I think it is already, in terms of building quality, design, good price, but people seem to misjudge LG only because the lack of updates. Come on, when you buy a telephone, do you really care about updates? Let's be honest, you only wanna chat on facebook, play some cool games, watch hd movies, and stuff like that. I don't think that the common smartphone customer cares about software updates, because they don't have a clue what is it good for. They only want a good looking phone, with premium build, and of course all these at a reasonable price, like LG offers. Tell me if you would pay 100-200$ more for a HTC One X or a Samsung Galaxy S3 than buying an LG Optimus 4X HD which is the same in terms of specs as its contenders? Yes, of course, the 4X has its glitches, like the autofocus on the camera, which, by the way, was solved with an update, in terms of heating, all high-end smartphones with these specs have problems, but it's not a major issue for none of them. Who can possibly say that you see a big difference between the 4X HD and the S3? Nobody, only sammy fanboys, who think their gadget is better because they paid their half a year salary for a device that isn't built from quality materials, but from a lousy plasticky plastic, the menu is too heavy to be understood by common users, and again, the price is too high, even two months after its launch.
It's better to have an exclusive phone from LG, than mass built sammy or apple(you have seen their quality already, they make posh phones, for one to claim that they have a lot of money and they can afford a mobile phone who is practically no good, but it's better looking...we live in this crazy world, and you have to deal with it, even if it has gone horribly in a bad direction.

But the camera has ALOT to be desired, and to be honest, most people seem to be saying that about this phone on the internet, not just me. You must have never seen camera samples from either Iphone 5 or GS3 or you work for LG -.-
