After reading your review , I said to my self, Toto , stay with your IPhone 4S.
And this scratching is honnestly a bad thing for the device.
There are no big difference to move on.

One of the most balanced pieces on the iPhone that I have ever read. Thank you for calling it like you see it. Maybe this will remove the wool from the iSheep's eyes.

So relieving that the iphone 5 improvement over iphone 4s is not so big deal. Why? Because im an iphone 4s user. And definitely I am staying!!!

let the loyal apple fanboys buy it....I am better off with a note2 or optimus G.plz gsmarena review the optimus G.it has very few disadvantages.apple's products have closed ecosystem,same boring UI & lacks tons of features that I think apple would add in the 9th iphone.
the optimus G is expected to be priced around 800$ considering optimus vu II was priced 835$.
iphone is not worth the 1000$ it is priced for..its probably good buy at 600$ no more than that

Creds to GSMArenas reviewers for not being forgiving about iphones many restrictions and lack of functionality. Its a OK review, i had expected the conclusion to be soft and forgiving but things actually kindof hardened up instead, facts were effectively banged down into good points.

Spend 15 minutes with an S3 or optimus G and youll find AT LEAST 20 software things to highlight, and maybe 19 of them would be more significant. Even the chinese brands has compareable software tricks up their sleeves.

the screen comes from LG and Sharp electronics
until the 4s the processor was supplied by Samsung
so if you are going to count the innovative back panel that allows you to leave your own identity on your device

Bu bringing out the same design again, now, when it even looks too tall because of the location of the front camera, is an anachronism, this design is so outdated and used up, its really a toilet paper roll with only one wipe left.
Its gay to say that this is still a great design. Hopelessly outdated. Beats the S3 design but if that was the goal then apple been aiming far below its target. Creds to samsung for going all the way to create a new design, even if its a bad design, at least they tried, while apple just copied themselves ONCE AGAIN!

GSMarena's has a bias towards massive phones. It is silly for a phone site to act like a large screen fanboy and put such a comment as a con.
Why didn't the comment about the lack of customisation available in the UI make the cons list instead?
They mention it on page 4 "Although it's a standard-setting homescreen, it is not absolutely impossible to improve on - widgets, for one, could have made the right difference for some users." but it didn't make the cons list?
It is arguably the biggest drawback of the iPhone.
But yes, good review GSMarena.

i found that , still missing highlight the IOS 6 Safari feature , which can upload photo directly in safari Browser which shown on Apple presentation Keynote on July !

i never thought there would be a review of the iphone5 - that is not afraid to be brutally honest. calling out both the pros and cons of the smartphone...unlike other tech site's review - they read like an obsessive fan mail for the iphone(engadget, slashgear, cnet, gizmodo etc. - congratulations GSMARENA_

Great hardware. The apps centric UI will never be for me and as someone who was in this market from the start I can't bring myself to support the company that turned this into the law suit industry.
Google are a dodgy company pretending to be your friend but tricking you and tracking you at every step to sell everything about you they can get their hands on. The main companies in this game are not great.
Apple still make better hardware than any one else (well phones like the Sony Xperia SX are great but if you give 99% of the World the middle finger by not selling them a comparable device then they don't don't count).
If only you could buy iPhone hardware and then put some non apps centric and non intrusive operating system on it. Why don't Apple offer a more configurable UI.
Remember people, don't be a fanboy or things won't improve.
