I must say that I am more than pleased with my Galaxy Note II because of the size of the screen, resolution and the way Jelly Bean 4.1 works with it. I agree that it cannot be operated with one hand but it is a phablet so that is something I had to get used to the idea of. I do hold it with one hand when I watch TV though, which I do often. My DISH coworker and I have Sling adapters at home and we sue them to stream live TV to work when we’re there and a Bronco’s game is playing. That way we catch the game on breaks when we work late or on weekends and don’t miss too many plays, which is nice for enjoying life a little more besides just working all the time.

I have this phone for 3 weeks now. It is very nice smartphone...but i encounter one prob. Sometimes when someone video call me on yahoo messenger, the phone continue to ring even i already answer it. I turn off the phone just to stop it from ringing. And quickly open my ym so if my family call me again and i answer the ring will stop..do i have to change some settings? Thanks...but still i love this phone...

I have this phone for 2 weeks now and I am super happy with it. The only problem is that you must do a lot of setings to work everything nice and perfect. But in the end you can say that you have a perfect smartphone. Is very powerfull and very nice to take it in the hand. I can not take another phone in hand because I feel it to small. I recomend the Note2, but only if you need a good smartphone, not for showing of.

Back in the 90's phones were this big and pocketing those was a very normal thing (e.g. Nokia 2110). Width x thickness of the Note 2 is even less than a 2110.

The phones sdcards can be accessed when its plugged into another computer, or you could just hotswap the microSD card - heck, I carry a dozen sdcards in a little case with an MicroSD card usb adapter. Plenty of options available for getting data on and off the Note2.

dick, 10 Nov 2012plz anyone tell me about the battery life of gn2 I m a hea... more6 to 8 hours at full tilt with max brightness with mine, using wifi for streaming video and playing games. Cpu intensive stuff (eg unzipping 1gig files) will suck up a few percent power quickly. Certain games (notably The Infinite Black) are also particulary draining on the battery, those are software issues though.

Turning the brightness down will extend that considerably. If thats not long enough just buy a second battery and a charger for it, since they can be swapped over in less than a minute - about 15 seconds when you've had practice. :)

I been using this phone and I'll be honest I prefer this over iphone. Everything works fine and super easy and fast. And also the hd quality for the videos is really bonus. I enjoy this phone for being big its because I can watch movies without any hesitancy while being comfortable sharing the screen with friend or family. And to be jonest im a girl and this phone fits my jeans pockets =/ both skinny jeans and normal jeans I dont know why people complain. And ideally it is targeted to fellow people who wants big screen and wants to try something new. Luckily I didn't hesitate to buy this phone. Good thing is also thw camera and screen shots u can take while watching streaming videos n doing all the work in superbly touch. It also gives choice for one handed qwert key(left or right) your choice. The voice recognition is awesome too even in other languages tested it and works superb. I also enjoy doing multi task here. Overall I would rate this phone a perfect 10 because it does everything u will ever need when it comes down to phone of daily use.
