12 December 2012
Android took the smartphone market by a storm, going from a nobody to the one to beat in just a couple of years, but tablets proved a tougher nut to crack. Google and partners have only recently started finding their pace and giving the dominating iPad...

The relatively bad timing of this product(right before CES and all the respective announcements and probably a quad to octa core tablet from samsung) plus the lack of 3g, micro SD and USB host have made me to consider passing on this device.

Nexus 10 is cheaper than ipad and offers excellent value at that price in fact it is a steal at that price.
Google has to do something to increase its availability though.

Not worried abot fps in games...you all know this is a nexus device meant for developers.its abt time.custom ROMs can almost double the performance over stock ROM.so no worries.I love my nexus10...and omg its an A15 CPU....may be the t604 is not on par with sgx 554 of Ipad...but the CPU is a lot quicker and can handle everything with ease....

It's funny you say that. Because my brother in-law thinks otherwise. After he saw my nexus 7, he said it was gorgeous and easily replace his iPad 2 with it. And he is a die hard Apple fan. Personally I think stock Android is the most classy OS in the market.

The screen is actually 300.24ppi not 299. Its 10.055 inches not 10.1

AnonD-80545, 12 Dec 2012OMG this tablet is really ugly, no chance...Actually the nexus 10 looks really good in real life. The curved edges and inbuilt speakers look a lot better than the square box of the Ipad.

I had this tablet for a week but sold it because it was to big for me... I found my tab 7.7 a better fit and weight for my purposes.

I loved the screen and processing power... Its a lot sharper than the benchmarks indicate... I think that Google still has some optimisation it could do here.

A lack of a micro sd isn't a big issue. You can get a really compact usb and adapter and use usb otg which is more useful in a lot of cases.

I wasn't fussed on the battery life... Its not even close to my tab 7.7 but it's a lot bigger hd screen. Apart from that, the google version of Android misses a lot of little options of touchwiz with go launcher.

This is the best android tablet available bar non... It is equal to he Ipad and better is many cases.... The Microsoft surface isn't even in the same class as the Ipad and nexus 10.

the good thing bout this tablet is, it has the best screen for a mobile gadget.. the bad thing? becoz of its hi-res, few apps are optimized for this gadget..

                                  google is releasing monstrous devices

                                  that resolution is wicked

nexus 4,7 and 10 all are just beasts

now if only it wasn't so difficult to give internal memory of at least 32 gb

                                        Hi fellow gamers :}

I am writing this for Nexus10 owners and in general for every single Android user.

I hope you like to have high FPS in games, and if you are like me then you definitely hate stutters & lags.
This idea is about giving you a smooth and lag-free gaming experience, just by lowering the resolution a little bit, don't worry about the artifacts your device is already having high DPI compared to PS Vita or PSP and you will hardly notice anything!

If you want more prove to be convinced, try finding a wallpaper with your native resolution and down scale it by 0.75 factor , then try to spot the difference on your screen device.

Please spread the word & show your support ,and be a part of Android's gaming future.
