I have to laugh when people start saying the iOS is basic and for kids when most adults i know own a device. What also makes me laugh is when people start spouting about specs and features, most of which are useless to your average joe.
You're not more intelligent if you have a device with 1080p 5inch screens and quad core processors. It just means you bought the hype and are hoping that your Android phone will get updates for more than a year and a half.

Note 2 has a 1.5 inch bigger screen which is going to drain the battery more than the 4 inch iPhone 5. If the apps you're using have white backgrounds the battery is gonna drain faster than with LCDs. Did you check in the settings which process was dragging your battery the most? It could have been a rouge/ poorly optimized app, or unneeded process you could disable. You could use a dark themed static wallpaper instead of a live one for more battery also.

Very very limited closed os even after jailbreaking , far less than a Normal android , so what about unlocked bootloader and rooted droid !! The most overpriced nothing special device !! And with no unjailbreaking your phone may be harmed with no solutions!

I recently sold my Note 2 and purchased iPhone 5. I hope this explain you which one is better. Both the Os's have apps, games etc but the THING Android sucks at is battery.

I sold my 4S and upgrade to Note II considering that massive 3100mah battery will last a day for a traveler like me, but it was completely opposite.

I have tried custom roms, stock deodexed roms, custom kernels, removed all bloatwares from Samsung douchwiz, but still it didn't last a day for me. Average screen time was 5-6 hours on Note II which would be the best if you compare it with SGS2, SGS3 and HOX.

Compare the same with iPhone 5, right now my battery is 56% with screen time of 5hours 43mins, 15 hours standby. It gonna last more than a day.

Same apps, same social bunch of apps like facebook, whatsapp, twitter, instagram which I installed in Note II.

Now, decide yourself. Either enjoy massive screen, huge custom roms, customizations, custom kernels, tons of launchers and suck battery life for 10-15 hours.

OR enjoy closed OS, no customization, no different launchers, no jailbreak (iPhone 5/iOS6), amazing battery life of 1-2 DAYS.

                    Make your choice!

"Safari isn't the best browser on the
iPhone anymore. If you don't own a
Mac then you probably don't use iCloud
to sync your opened pages across
devices. You can do this with Chrome
for iPhone, which is also very fast and offers an intuitive swipe interface that
                          outclasses Safari in every way.".....
                          WAS IT A JOKE???

As we all know, apple restricts java script performance on 3rd party browsers for iOS. So for best experience, one should only use Safari. And safari is very fast and feature rich with stuff like reader. (plz don't reply me saying it doesn't have flash, we all know that)

I personally liked the recommendations on Android for beginners where you recommended different apps for different fields which is missing in this tutorial. This is a let down and I expected a lot more.
