I would take the Nokia 808 PureView anytime, anywhere. If I could, I would trade my Xperia for one of those.

First of all there no comparison between Galaxy camera and Nokia 808 pure-view. As compared like a phone then GC has no support of gprs, edge or 2g, where one cant find 3g everywhere so can't use like normal phone. And we all used android so much and got fed up with it.
If we need a mobile phone then what are the important things should we consider first are- A battery backup with good usage like making calls sending sms and using internet where android fails alltime it's most phones backup 13 to 18 hours. If you can't play games for long time, cant use internet in phone for longtime or cant talk for long time draining battery like a laptop. Where nokia 808 Symbian good battery backup like a normal phone should have a main feature. And coming to additional things like camera music and other multimedia features, Nokia's camera 41(38)mp is far better than all other phones which are having maximum of 13mp camera. Having a good camera for need and all the normal phone features it's better to have Nokia 808 than s4 or any other android phones. And music is not bad and can play games for a long time in symbian and do everything for long time in symbian and most important we don't need to flash roms symbian consistently like in android we do. Symbian is more stable for long time it wont give any errors. And a lot good things to find in symbian than android. I was a Galaxy s3 user and now I sold that to buy this Nokia 808.

all those tests were done outdoors in good lighting condition. Do the test again indoors and compare. You'll be surprised.

My nokia 808 freezes periodicaly as i turn on the phone.can somebody help me cos i tried the three finger hard reset but it could not help.is there any other ways i could try to solve this problem.

Well, I don't have nokia 808 ... but I had both galaxy s4 and nokia n8 ... galaxy is better in the internet ..... but regarding photo capturing nokia n8 is better -don't surprise- the details in nokia n8 is more clearer when the same picture taken also the colors is closer to the reality in nokia n8 .... the belle is so simple in dealing than android ... this is my openion and really I want to change my s4 by nokia 808 pureview

Anyway, I have to ask, if you always carry a simple phone, a dedicated camera, a navigation device, a gaming console, a tablet, a compass, a metal detector, a torch, a sound recorder etc... Don't they ever get stolen? Don't you lose them? Aren't they hard to carry around? I have all of them in my Symbian and in my pocket.

hey dude, check this site out. http://lenses.zeiss.com.and tell whether it is a lens maker or a lens technology.Nokia benefits only because of the use of this ultra superior lens.It is clearly shown in the test for the details of the shots taken. samsung has a lower quality lens. symbian is a dead horse.sorry.i would rather use a dedicated camera for my shooting purposes than a camera phone that is neither here nor there.i would prefer a Sony as a point and shoot and a Nikon for a DSLR and a simple phone for communication .thank you.

I think it should be better to test low light settings by shooting in actual low light situations (like iphone 4S camera vs Iphone 5 camera low light test) rather than taking pics of charts. other than that I really enjoy reviews from Team gsmarena
