HTC One review: To rule them all

22 March 2013
Arguably one of the most exciting pieces of smartphone design in recent times, the HTC One is also properly powered and flaunts a screen that should please even the most demanding eyes...

whilst the speakers are of good quality, unfortunately the lowest possible volume setting and they are STILL too loud for certain situations. fail.

I will defenetely go for HTC ONE. Best battery result for web browsing 10h (better than motorola maxx), and second for video playng 10h. I think gsm arena passed to easy above this aspect!!!

a really good phone from htc.

too bad I really need sdcard slot and removable battery feature, so the only choice for me is sgs4.

        I like that stereo speakers.

I hope htc will release another variant of this one with sdcard slot & removable battery later.

I thought that the 4mp 'ultrapixel' camera would be revolutionary but this review contrasts this. The camera performs well in low light but not as well as other cameras in good lighting. Thats a deal breaker for me, along with the lower resolution photos.

10 h of web browsing. I love you htc. My one x dies after only 4h. It is more than doble.

I really love this overall phone but still i will prefer Removable battery, SD card slot & 13mp Cam like other flagships in same design.

AnonD-119044, 23 Mar 2013well, i like the looks and the sounds of this phone. but i ... moresometimes in the real life u will be in unplanned celebration ,me and my friends will use our phones to enjoy the moment,or u might be bored with a friend in a place with no tv ,u might watch a movie together and pass the time(u need loudspeahers and good viewing angles)

the octacore of the s4 gives u better performance and a better battery life ,normal users differ in their gaming some play cut the rope (especially girls)and other play real racing.

the problem with xperia z is that the loudspear performance is below average even for just ringing .

the bad viewing angle of the xperia z is not because sony thinks about your privacy ,it is because sony uses cheap glass, this lead not to just poor viewing angle but even to poor contrast which made the brevia engine useless.

when ur phone is not water resistance it does not mean u can't use it in rainy days,it means u can't use it under the water.

for me when comparing xperia z to htc one,the xperia z wins only in good light still camera performance.

So the fantastic loudspeaker is not that loud, and the fantastic camera is not that clear. Disappointed, will pass on that one...

Also Xperia Z camera output was bad, soft and less details even it was 13MP.

HTC one was better sharpness and details.

Not me said only, a lot others side reviewers also mention it.

If you compare with others and mentioned it was better, then it was. But xperia Z camera was better? Sorry it never better than HTC one camera.

The rest of review was fair and good.

Not going to say some of the dealbreakers for me but the Zoe feature is really good feature..I think later on htc will bring out 8MP ultrapixel which will make Zoe even better. Its a fantastic feature that will be brilliant for lots of events, pets, kids, stunts and its not a gimmick..It does not say how much each event takes up in MB tho.

It says only 4 homescreens rising to 5 including Blinkfeed but surly this can be overiden by Launcher Pro etc..
