Im really happy with my XZ so far and if i had to choose between these two, i would definitely go for XZ again. thats a gorgeous device. display is astounding and the viewing angles are not disastrous and they're fine. the premium feel is perfect, and the camera performs well and i think will get even better with the upcoming update sound quality is very good for a water resistant handset and the hardware does perfect in every aspect. i think benchmarks are not that important and the difference between these two are not so much. so i think the winner here is XPERIA Z.

S4 may not be able to compete in the "looks" department against the One and Z, but in all else, it DOES reign supreme

Why are sony always one step behind everyone?
Their flagships always seem to have inferior cameras and last-gen chipsets
Their last flagship which actually competed was the K800i!

definitely my XZ wins.
i think this is a great start for Sony while they are competing with fourth generation of Galaxies and one of the bests of HTC.
i think Sony's Q2 flagship will defeat both S4 and One as XZ did it to some extent and now its selling like hot cakes. HTC policy in releasing its phone will definitely hurt it. 2013 is Sony's for sure.

Even HTC one and lumia 920 has better looking of (F*&^%) S4
Why they Create S4? just grab the previous model and put some No-Quality CPUs from Trash. Ough:@

Hmm let's see.. One has better screen (the most important IMO), build quality&feel, sound quality, superior hardware and software tweaks, better battery life.
Xperia has waterproof..
I'd say, the one pretty much destroys xz.
P.S. As for the camera performance, it's quite difficult to say which is better. xz won in stills, but htc won in low light performance and video capturing. I prefer good low light performance any day, but it's subjective, of course.

I prefer Xperia Z

- The One maybe superior for its chipset and clocksped, but as long as no lag in Xperia Z then that's enough; actually both of these devices are very fast in performing the tasks on daily smartphone activities. (If you're intend into put your smartphone into race then choose the One)
- Both are beautiful but Xperia Z just "Simply the Most Beautiful" and that made sense.
- Camera, both are high! (if you want more to the highest then choose DSLR)
- External Memory, oh just tell us here if you don't need this one!
- Sound & Audio for elephony, music, etc. Again, tell us here if you rock your volume to its limit! Beware your ears!

I`m using XZ and this the best looking and powerful smartphone that I`ve had. One is good too and awesome looking phone , but for me XZ ruls . I`m adventure person and I like that my phone and water are friends , yet .

Apart from design, s4 wins them combined hands down. The S4 design is the final nail sammy refused to put on HTC/Sony coffins. Think they should really thank sammy for that! At the end we will see how many people are willing to sacrifice raw power and features for design.
