Can anyone please comment on the maps of the different countries that we can download and use offline with Nokia 925? 920 had it for all the countries but I'm not sure about 925. Does this phone can be used for maps of multiple countries?

Modern Smart Phones have OIS.
All the others are laughable stone age antiques.
The Modern Smart Phones list includes:
Nokia Lumia 920
Nokia Lumia 925 + 6th lens
Nokia Lumia 928 + Xenon Flash
HTC One (with stolen HAAC microphones)

I own lumia920 and had the so called quad core 2gb ram note 2
and honestly I am very happy with my 920
all the useful apps are available, the phone lasts for one complete day with heavy gaming, browsing, and photography, which I am used too
it never lag even when I play heavy games on it
whereas the quadcore lagdroid was very irritating.
even my c6-01 was better than that

Today's flagship devices come with 1080p screens, 2300+ mAh batteries, modern OS-es. 925 doesn't fall into this category.

Still does not make the cut for a flagship phone of a brand like Nokia. One expects more, and I suppose Nokia can also deliver more, but the Windows Mobile 8 is one limitation. However, one wonders why some of the hardware specific features like a slimmer form factor could not have come with the 920 itself. Can not a Finnish Nokia compete on speed with an Asian Samsung....

Microsoft and Apple experienced making desktop OS. Ten years ago, a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB memory can run windows xp very smoothly.
Google doesn't have this kind of experience. Probably that's why Android needs such hardware. Linux was always deemed to be less hardware burden than windows, but this doesn't happen with Android.

AnonD-122899, 21 May 2013Nope. I'm not an Apple fan. I'm using HTC One FYI. And what... moreI used all smartphone Lumia 920, Iphone, Note2, G3, Z10 and now HTC One. The only good thing about WP is the integration with Office. But having said that the calendar agenda is really bad from WP. The active tiles are refreshing but not a real game changer. After awhile you will tend to ignore and get straight to applications. Stability is comparable among the smartphones. Notifications are not well implemented in WP. Whatsapp, WeChat and many social applications are really bad in WP. Guess WP is only pushing for Skype? This was the reason why I moved again back to Android though I was impressed with Lumia 920 camera and Nokia Map. When BBM is available for IOS and Android we will see another wave of migration from BB user (I used Z10 and not happy with it). If WP does not resolve all its weaknesses they will definitely loose more market share worst WP does not have many apps compare with IOS and Android. Microsoft is really stubborn and try to corner the market which they don't have.
Just my thoughts.

Hey,
Your info is slightly wrong. The sensor in the 920, 928 and 925 is the same but the 925 is the first Pureview with a 6th glass lens which focuses the picture and let's in even better low light. So actually the camera is better than 928 and 920!

Have 920 for 5 months and it is the best smartphone I owned so far. I arrived from iPhone campus and tried few Androids before made decision. Nokia hardware design is top notch and they had experience in that. Nokia mobile phones were always the best designed phones and functionally smoothest.
WP8 does it great, they add some new functions in the latest update and will continue to do so. Nothing spectacular, but everything useful. There is a kind of high-class feel of Nokia WP that totally lacks in Androids, which look mostly to me like kids' smartphones. Kudos for 925 I think it is the phone of choice for intelligent user over 25 yrs old or business people. Integration with Windows is great and I am generally tired of both Apple products and their OS (although I remember times when it looked to me as way more polished than Windows, not anymore). Warm recommendation, try it in shop, play with some of nice and smooth features and chance is Nokia Lumia will become your smart choice.

# Call duration should be displayed in call log
# Native Video call
# Pdf reader auto text alignment of clear readability
# Phone storage cleaner for smooth using
# Camera auto timer Option

# USB Mass storage
# Bluetooth Name change option
# App installation on external memory Option
# Separate ring tone as well as msg tone for individual contacts (optional)
# On screen Caller image display for both incoming and outgoing, also for incoming messages.
# customization of Alert sounds, and ring tones.
# 'undo' and 'select all' option in text, office, onenote & and others

I love what Nokia doing with WP now. But they need to bring down PureView, Carl Zesis and Super sensitive touch to their mid range phones as well.

The price plus specs for the things I love to do with a phone even the efficient wp8 doesn't cut it. Android might be resource intensive but truthfully speaking we also don't need an i7 processor but there is someone out there who utilises it to the last core Android on one core still runs great at 800mhz so I insist that processor sucks. The camera is all great but it's such a miniscule part of a phone and a 5mp cam is also really great. plus don't forget the rate at which Samsung is upgrading is hardware including the graphics processing unit and the fact that Nokia has been at the top with Carl zeiss all that time, when Samsung stops upgrading perfomance hardware and gets to imaging hardware nokia is dead. I don't care much for aluminium trim and stuff. Can't even hookup a Flash disk or gaming pad to that phone. I loved Nokia till the N96 but then I grew up hahahaha
