fantastic, no nonsense phone for average user and fairly busy people. for those who want waste precious time is android and 'rooting'.

Horrible phone, weak cpu and gpu, no sd, very bulky, poor cam in daylight, poor flash photo quality, no fill flash, mono videos, and the usual poor OS with slow animations and no app multitasking. Is there no end to the list of disadvantages? The only good news is that none of us are Verizon subscribers ahah.

Very nice phone, I like the design, the white back and the black front panel. Nice screen and a good camera. But the verizon logo... it makes it just less attractive to look at the front. Too bad they need to have a logo on the Phone (AT&T, Verizon etc.) but the design is great.

Actually, this is not the first Windows Phone with xenon flash. It was a HTC 7 Mozart. It had xenon flash (attached to a dreadful camera, which in turn was attached to a beautiful phone with dreadful screen).

"No system-wide file manager".....when will it not be a disadvantages of the lumia series....I think it's such a waste for a nice phone like this, nokia already put a great effort to make such a great phone like this (I think), but wtf microsoft, you can't even manage to fit in something that an old symbian phone had, and you even forbid nokia to use other OS like android..."why nokia + android?" okay then, how about nokia + ubuntu (or something else)? will microsoft allow that to happen? again, wtf microsoft...

The reason is in the same article,a much more beefier processor,larger ,higher resolution screen and cameras,a truckload of sensors,higher capacity battery,a ton of software tricks and much more.I have nothing against s4 neither did I drag it here.I actually like to purchase one this year.

Err...actually...both the Lumia 928 and the S4 are made of Polycarbonate, as are many other phones...open the back cover and you'll find a marking >pc

Large BAD footprint..
Large BAD battery (only 41h)
Stupid BAD OS (unusable)
No mem Card and this is totally BAD
Old BAD proc and GPU
Old BAD camera (no full HD)
No replaceable batt. and this is REALLY BAD!

One of the reasons Samsung used it was to keep the price in check.But it is not cheap among plastics.
