That's because it's designed to be both light and durable. Just saying. And why did you so suddenly decide to drag S4 into the conversation? You jealous at S4 users? I'd say you are.

This review looks like it's written by Samsung - look our Galaxy S4 is thinner and lighter, less bezels etc. Then why don't you compare it with a piece of paper, it's thinner and lighter.
Gsmarena, if you like comparing phones, then why don't you write this in the Galaxy S4 review:
The Galaxy S4 is too light and thin, it's like a plastic case filled with air, because it lacks wireless charging, xenon flash and OIS, unlike Lumia 928. Also Galaxy S4 is made of very thin and cheap plastic that breaks easily, unlike Lumia 928's polycarbonate which is used in bullet proof glass. Also Galaxy S4 has one cheap and light microphone, while Lumia 928 has 3 high ampitude microphones.

Also, the S4 still more expensive, for cheap low quality plastic all around the phone.

I don't see any problem with the pictures at full-size, there's a bit of luminance noise but they look very sharp. Luminance noise is much more tolerable than chromatic noise, which isn't present. Still, the S4 camera is probably better at good light, but I rather get the 928 because I'm not always at sunlight, and in that scenario the 928 is much better, with or without flash.

Cons:
•Too large a footprint for a device with a 4.5" display
Yep, huge bezels once again. I'm paying for screen not the big plastic borders around it.

Why?have the designers at Nokia removed micro sd card slots an removable batteries from there phones, when they know they can"t compete with Apple by copying there phone design,if these were included in Windows phones, then people might give Windows a try, thats why Samsung phones are more popular now,by having all your own things on the memory card an a spare battery in your pocket or coat

I find the photos have very high noise level and not sharp, even in broad daylight. However, I think these can be fix with camera software fixes.
And the battery capacity is too low....

that's an embarrassing battery life there. it has a 2000mah batt for a relatively small display and is even using amoled. how can it only manage 41 hours? xperia z has 46 hrs with a 5" inefficient TFT display. is the camera drawing all the power?

"We, however, were surprised to see that the much touted high dynamic range three-mic setup on the phone produces videos with only mono sound (and it's got a bitrate of merely 96 Kbps)."
oh Nokia!, your hardware is good and that stupid OS can`t keep up with it, please ditch that experimental OS an adopt Android or even develop sympian.
By the way: Symbian has Stunning Imaging Algorithms and excellent Dolby plus Audio Quality.
All just What Symbian needs is to support HD screens,
High Ram capacities and Quad cores,
mmmm... and some new visuals.

Dear GSMArena,
Why don't you simply say 'refer this article for windows phone review'. Since the UI is same in all the WP mobiles, you don't need to waste your time on repeating.

Well friend.. Even I was wondering the bsame thing, after all nokia lumia 928 is well known for its extremely loud and clear loudspeaker ...but the audio quality tests conducted by gsmarena tell us that the volume levels are average...lets hope lumia 928 finally delivers what nokia claims... I believe it would be a lot louder than my NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW..or the htc one

The WP app catalog is not much of a disadvantage actually. Mainly it's the lack of a file manager which hopefully will come on an update

The only reason I didn't buy lumia 920 is because music player is without id3v2 support. Since, 928 still the same, bye bye...
