There's nothing actually new there.
Spec sheets doesn't always translate either. Take the Nexus 4 for example. Top of the line everything when it came out, and did not live up to expectation at all. In fact it's a very poor quality device in many ways.
Moto X is headed the same way so soon...
I wish specs did count for everything, but they don't and you'd be a fool to still be buying into the specs hype in 2013. Until they actually optimize Android PROPERLY, the specs hardly matter. It's highly versatile, but broken system.
And yes, I do own one - a 2013 Nexus 7.

Galaxy gear is a natural accessory partner for any phablet, but there's no denying it's a rushed product so they can beat Apple to the punch.
25hr battery life? Ummm, forget it.
Also, given Samsung has been exposed as optimizing their devices to cheat in benchmark tests, I'd take those results with a grain of salt.
Besides, everyone knows that once you have 10+ 3rd party apps installed from Play, performance diminishes A LOT.

Why no one is talking about the new feature in soud. And they change the loudspeaker position, is it for good quality sound.

4k video recording? For people who spent some 20k on a 4k TV? I guess they already have 4k video recorders of slightly higher class...
1080p at 60 fps, on the other hand, sounds great!

Im waiting so long for note 3.. it's so sad, all plastic.. why cant samsung focus on materials? I thought its a metal chasis.. ill skip to other phone..

Why doesn't everyone appreciate evolution of technology? Instead of arguing I just keep admiring those spec sheets, Z1's, Note 3's and G2's. But no, the mobile industry has turned into fanboy wars just like console industry, and now anyone doesn't know how much technology has evolved. Not a single person admires the work those brands have put into to bring us such amazing devices but no one sees that, they just look for something bad to say about one device just because they like the other one better.

Or make it aluminum so it gets ugly scratches, dings/dents/ becomes basically unrepairable, heats up like an iron, and looses signal faster...and both make it heavier and generally non removable battery and no SD slot..
So yeah Samsung. Stop using high grade premium Polycarbonate even though it's more practical, more durabile, much better with heat, lets us have SD slot, and removable battery, is easier to produce and more malleable...all just o make some jealous online haters happier.

Samsung has done it again! This is how the best phablet on the market gets improved BIG TIME! Phablets aren't just about bigger size to watch vids or pics, but it also must be portable and easy/comfortable to handle. The Note II has done that to better the Note I and this has made it even better. Bigger screen with 1080p res but also smaller, thinner and lighter in size than the Note II. With BIGGER BATTERY inside, too! And the leather back feel.. Talking about how to use plastic to feel good in the hand, it can't get any better. There's even real leather flipcover for the alternative which I believe every single user will opt as every Note user I know uses flipcover.
And then there's the internals and camera. It's the most powerful Snapdragon 800, which made it most powerful smartphone to date with 3GB of RAM (the only one! )just WOW! And they're not just for show offs either, since the Note III multitasking just got even better, and that's how you use the big screen! The camera is not of the highest resolution, of course - you can get the 1020 Nokia for that OR the Hyetis Crossbow (which I'd love to get over the Galaxy Gear when I have the cash) but it's not 8 MP, too, and of course most of all is it can record 720p @120fps, 1080p @60fps + UHD @30fps and become the only one at it since Acer liquid S2 is only good for 24fps.
And of course, the S-pen. Hmm.. The air command.. It sounds so cool it's like you're gonna launch an airstrike or something hahaha.. It's not just pencil or any pointed object, of course, I mean the stylus from the 90's can also use pencils and any other pointed object. Or don't people know that these days. :)
Okay, I believe the Note III is officially the new overall undisputed champion. I love it, rate it 9.5 out of 10. Definately gonna get it. And I'm sure it's gonna sell like nuts. Peace out!

unlike some manufacturers that DON'T GIVE YOU A CHOICE. (Apple connectors come to mind, forcing hapless users to purchase crappy converters or worse, new compatible devices).
