Who was in charge of the graphics for this? The sixth grade class at the all girls elementary school? And the Calendar? You have got to be kidding. Apple has "jumped the shark". Anyone want to buy my iPhone 4S? I'm bailing out. Android here I come. And same with my iPad. The new MS tablet is looking mighty fine....... Welcome back, Microsoft

updated my ipad 3 and now its running laggy as hell. I mean, ios's biggest advantage was its fluidity and smoothness. I bet there were other things more worth copying from android.

Than select window corresponding to the app you want to close and drag it to the top of the screen...

One side android is improving from the experiences and apple is downgrading.
I liked apple because of its UI. In iOS 7, it's worst.
Battery back up, UI, slow responsive touch, scrolling everywhere ios7 is not satisfactory.
I upgraded from iOS 6 to 7 on my iPad 3, but now i am repenting.
Is there any way to revert to ios 6?
I am feeling that i am using a simple low cost gadget after upgrading to ios 7.
UI, icon design, graphics, pathetic dynamic wallpapers, unavailability of widgets are some of the negative points.
The bottom line is, introducing iOS 7, Apple has lost its heritage.

Looks cheap and too flashy, nothing useful in terms of improving productivity or efficiency or jaw dropping. Disappointment, the system has started to lag in Tennis 3, etc.

I would suggest the following changes can take place
-The Received message as title should be with different color than the send messages...same as missing calls and aswer calls.
- The Contact screen is full white color..the icons should be with different color as grey favorite..contacts..recents..keypad..
- Caller ID ( Photos ) was in the previous version better as it takes the full screen.

In IOS7 the tasks are no longer shown pro day, but in one big not-chronolgical mass.

The Task-menu does not order the tasks per date.
Was perfect in iOS 6 and synchronised perfect with Outlook.
In iOS 7 this is lost and you cannot view per day which tasks are due or planned for today or a specific day.
It is one big, non-chronolgical, assembly of all tasks.

iOS7 lifted the following GUI elements from different competitors' OS:
Cartoon like icons - Nokia's Symbian OS
Text as buttons for a certain function - from Windows Phone 7/8
Lock Screen - from Windows Phone 7/8
Mutltitasking/Active App Kill - from Blackberry OS
Control Center - Android
These are not innovations. but instead are quick fixes to make people stay with iOS. John Ive's formula was to find out what people loved from cometitors' OS and lift them directly to iOS7.
With iOS7, damn battery life has gone from bad to worse. 100% - 90% in a little over an hour without even using the phone. What's going on in the backgroud Apple? I stongly suspect some processes are running in the background causing the unnecessary battery drain. I also noticed that even at airplane mode my 4s is a bit warmer to the touch than before.

haha...just change the battery and signal icon and its a damn good innovation for these ripped off people...just think how much limitations and ripping of can u suffer ...with paying of 900bucks apple should be dedicated to make your life easy ,not just look for ways to suck any more juice u can afford..such money minded innovationless company..i have used both ios and android and u people have no reason or fact to say ios is smooth .....in fact i find the latest android versions way more smoother than ios

I hv a iphone 4s in my old phone vich is 4s in dis phone i hv lot of important data in it , right now vich i hv lost ma device , So i want to delete ma data through icloud r from my any other iphone....
Is dis is possible to do r else can i hv any website from apple from vich i can lock ma device....
Its really very important fr me...

ALLBLUES, 20 Sep 2013What really annoys me is the fact that many people keep bas... moreYea, I have an SIII and I have to admit IOS has always been alot more fluid. Yes it has its downsides but so does everything.
For core smart phone featues like web browsing, multitasking, ease of use os and camera. Its great. no point increasing hardware if the software doesnt need it.
Its like having an i7 16gb gaming PC and using it for emails. Whats the point.

I just did a forced restart. (hold lock and home button together for up to 10 seconds until it starts to power off and shows the apple logo)
This resolved it and it is working fine now. Hope this helps
