Sausage, 21 Sep 2013Well, I think this is not the phone for gamers, it's for re... moreWell, I do have Xperia V, though it only has 1gb ram, for now it is the current minimum for high end games, eventually as time goes by it will not be a minimum anymore 2 then 3 then so on and so forth, 4gb is the cap of us using 32bit phones anyways, that is just how technology goes.

Maybe for regular people with big hands or willing to use phone two-handed. If you're a real gamer I suppose you are willing to pay much more than 250-300 euros for gaming phone with 2 gb of ram.

If it was a high end device then one could count it as a disadvantage, its like expecting a low or midrange Android phone to run smooth, heck even the s4 lagged in many reviews.

WP8 smoothness is attributed to its design principle, it applies the same philosophy as IOS placing the highest priority to USER UI; so the RAM is pretty irrelevant to it being smooth.

An android phone is proportional to its user, it being functional or it being a waste is completely dependent on the one who is using it, that is why you get a lot of people saying android lags and android is smooth; while a wp handset is not, it is smooth out of the box without the user doing anything with it.

People misunderstanding the windows phone 8 and it doesn't necessary to have 1 GB of ram and more. WP8 is not like the android, and its able to run fine just 512 ram. that's why a low-end windows phone 8's phones work, and android doesn't! A low-end android phone hardly functional. With everything the lumia 625 have it doesn't have much of difference from the lumia 521, if you ask me. Just bigger screen, a led flash, and something small things. So this is rather a mid to low-end phone than a mid-range phone. And once again, WP8phone works fine even it's just a low-end phone.
