rotating camera is not practical. I would rather have a solid phone without moving parts.

Deep Shinde, 24 Sep 2013Rotation of Camera will damage the component after so many ... moreMaybe you have been buying those cheap chinese knock off. This one is a proper premium brand from China and they are not cheap! Your presumption that they used backyard tools to put this phone together is totally outdated. Watch the Oppo video imtroducing the Oppo N1 manufacturing process. You will get a better idea. BTW, that rotating camera have a 100,000 life cycle = 5yrs of usage with 50 flips everyday.

I can't wait for a full review of this baby. Will this be available worldwide, I'm asking about Europe specifically? It has been a problem with Oppo phones till now, hopefully they'll rethink their strategy.

Rotation of Camera will damage the component after so many uses just like the flip or slider phones. There must be a wired strip or cable for connecting camera ? where it will be attached ? Very bad idea ! Last but not the least, no one knows "Oppo". These Oppo,Zopo etc are all Chinese brands.I wont waste my money buying it. I have already lost some on one china re branded mobile.

Seems like a nice phone, but hoping to compete with Lumia 1020 in terms of image quality is just too much expectation. The sensor is too small, there's no OIS. I doubt it very much that the 8 sec exposure time will produce better images than the 4 sec exposure of the Lumia 1020 given the huge diference in sensor size and the pureview technology...
