One question to the guy who made that review - WHY YOU DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THE REGION LOCK FOR THIS PHONE?
This issue is a big STOP of the sales of this phone! If the review is honest and objective you should warn your readers about this problem!
They should know how Samsung is making their customers fools!

Yeah, I'm no Samsung fan either but the Note is simply best in it's class.
Such a shame that in a device that size, they couldn't add an RDS radio and OIS.

"Flash is no longer welcome as even the stock browser has dropped support for plug-ins", Dolphin and Boat still support flash, and a browser that cannot handle/play adobe flash movies... is totally unusable!

Samsung nails it again....
Phablet of the year..
Sony fans please enjoy your Z ultra....good device....but isn't worthy of the tag phablet of the year.
Note 3 a little expensive than normal but still worth it unlike apple products.

Great Review. Thanks GSM. You are as good as Samsung at raising the bar. Great Phablet. But WHY oh WHY no RDS Radio on-board??
Samsung phones always used to have RDS FM radio AND microSD card slot. First the S4 and now Note 3 this sucks!! For me this is a deal breaker.

AnonD-19190, 04 Oct 2013Still my xperia zu is much better then thisDon't even bother defending your XZU against the Note III. You must keep thinking XZU is the best. Mind over matter.
XZU is water resistant. XZU is so much flatter. XZU has nice good wide bezels to hold. XZU gives you the excuse to carry a separate thing as a stylus. XZU can still be carried in a pocket - just don't sit. XZU gives you the excuse to carry a man bag. XZU's poor non-removable battery gives you reason to carry that portable battery charger.

I wonder what the note 5 or 6's screen will look like in the future. Can notice Samsung is starting to slow down the screen sizes of their phones.

The regional locking that Samsung has introduced in Note III is a major turn-off. People who have used their new Note happily at home have noticed that when travelling to other countries they were not able to switch to a local sim to avoid roaming charges. This is the opposite of what some Samsung PR people are saying.
I believe the reviewed phone was off a reproduction batch as the region stickers and sim locking were not covered in the review?
I've been very pleased with Samsung products until now, but I won't be buying another Samsung phone, as regional sim locks do not belong to today's international world.

AnonD-19190, 04 Oct 2013Still my xperia zu is much better then thisAnd its also a lot heavier than this! Dont need waterproofing in phablets and also dont need big bezels surrounding a massive screen!

To be honest - I wouldn't ever consider buying the Note 3 if the size was bigger than what it is now. I think this size is a maximum acceptable for a pocketable device.
Xperia Z Ultra for example is ridicuolus, this is not a device you carry in your pocket. I hope Samsung won't increase the size next year and will improve in other areas, like photo capabilities, battery life, display technology etc.

Can you mention in review that the phone is Region Lock . And what Samsung say is not truth ? That would be great review.
And this is from CLOVE UK
"John says:

Just an update from my last message. I finally received the following by email from Samsung Customer Support:
“I am very sorry to hear that you may not purchase a Note 3 due to the regional lock. In this e-mail, I will explain to you the reason for this.
The reason for the regional lock is to ensure that devices aren’t being imported between regions illegally. However, this does not mean that you cannot use another SIM card in the phone while abroad.
For instance, if you purchase a Note 3 in the UK and put a foreign SIM card in it, then it will lock and will need to be sent to a service centre to get unlocked. However, if you put a UK SIM card into the Note 3 first, then it will recognise that it is a UK SIM card in a UK model and wont lock. Then, if you go abroad, you can still use a foreign SIM card in it.
We have seen a steady rise in complaints about people purchasing phones and tablets online and in local retail outlets that aren’t based to their specific region. What this means is that if we receive a call from someone who has a phone that originated in Asia, we have to send them to Samsung Asia as they have different parts for their models.
This then leads to the customer having to pay a lot of money to get their device repaired. With the regional lock, we hope to stop this from happening.
I hope this information has been of benefit to you and that you understand the regional lock a bit better now. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we value and appreciate our customers thought and comments on the matter.”
I think their excuse is mind boggling and they probably made it up as it bears no relation to the wording on the sticker. However if what they say is now true and Clove do confirm this after tests then I shall order one from Clove."
