3 October 2013
From an experimental niche product to standard-setter in just three generations. The Note 3 boasts a beautiful large screen, cutting edge tech and hardware design that shows Samsung is finally taking looks seriously...

Whoa, 04 Oct 2013Apple 5S even with 1GB ram still beat the note 3 in a few t... moretrue but what most people forget is appl design thier software around the hardware where as google make andriod and so companies like samsung, sony e.t.c have to then put all thier own stuff on top so an apple device will probably always beat some of the other top phones out there unless they all start making thier own os's

Apple 5S even with 1GB ram still beat the note 3 in a few tests. Unbelievable engineering in such a small size. Still nice try from massive samsung.

The regional locking that Samsung has introduced in Note III is a major turn-off. People who have used their new Note happily at home have noticed that when travelling to other countries they were not able to switch to a local sim to avoid roaming charges. This is the opposite of what some Samsung PR people are saying.

I believe the reviewed phone was off a reproduction batch as the region stickers and sim locking were not covered in the review?

I've been very pleased with Samsung products until now, but I won't be buying another Samsung phone, as regional sim locks do not belong to today's international world.

Great review as usual, just wanted to ask about the audio test, was it done with the snapdragon or the exynos phone? Is there a big difference in audio quality since both versions use different audio chipsets ?

Just bought the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 here in Australia and already let me say this is one seriously bloody good smartphone, and as we Aussies say it's a little beauty, or in this case a big beauty. So much so even my Gen Y kids are already wanting to give their new Apple iphone 5s the bullet and migrate over to Samsung.
                  Goodonya Samsung!

Can we have a review between the octa core and the snapdragon? I'm from India and really want to know if its worth investing in the octa core one? I currently have the note 2

It has been widely reported that Samsung is cheating the benchmarking software. I wonder if GSMArena applied the necessary modifications to prevent the device from detecting the benchmark software used.

Well yes you were wrong ..The Note 3 doesn't improve on the Note 2s speaker, or audio quality. In amazed Gsm haven't mentioned that. .

Please provide a comparison between snapdragon version and exynos octa version and battery tests for the exynos octa.
Indian users need to see the difference and is it worth buying the octa version

First of all, take a bow GSMA. Superb review!

No words to describe about this jugger-note! Sammy has done it again. From screen to compactness from looks to performance, just about everything is fantastic. The new 4k video recording, the advanced S-Pen and its tons of new features.

Yet again samsung has set the rules for what takes to be a phablet. Well done sammy. Kudos.

Oh this review is making me one really happy buyer today :)

The cherry on top of it - that no other review online has - is the audio quality section.

Who else noticed that this boy HAS THE BEST AUDIO QUALITY MEASURED TO DATE on Gsmarena?!
                              Wonderful

The battery test & performance is for Snapdaragon version, how about Octa version.
