had my phone for a nearly a year now. I wouldnt buy it again! The battery runs out far too quickly!! (and yes, I did charge it correctly from the beginning) People I text are getting alot of incomplete messages! very annoying !
You cant send any text messages if your "sent" messages are full. So you have to erase what you have written and start again once you clear sent text...grrrr! Ringtones are pathetic, however, I do like the "funky wake up" as my alarm. Its demented and pretty funny. Doesnt hold enough text messages so constantly having to clear old messages so new ones can come through. no blue tooth. Dont go there its not very good.

I bought the phone a month ago. I was mugged yesterday, and told them that the phone was not worth stealing. I was glad when they took it anyway.

Every time I went to send an MMS, the text would never send through. I took a photo of a blue shirt, from a metre away. The photo turned out white. The camera is very poor quality.

The back of the battery cover comes off very easily, and after the backing has fallen off once, every time a key is pushed down it makes a squeaking noise.

The ring volume is crazily low, and for some reason half of the tones you will download will be less than 40% of the volume of the tones that come with the phone.

In terms of SMS, I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes you just want a quiet, short message alert, and there is no simple beep you can use. All of the message alerts go for a fairly long time, and are horribly irritating. The "silent" option means that your phone will vibrate loudly every couple of seconds until you open it up and acknowledge the message. It's actually louder than most of the ringtones I used to use.

I strongly suggest you avoid this phone, unless you have a secret plan to drive yourself insane through frustration. And an inability to contact people when you need to because of how fast the battery dies.

I am from Nepal. Yea this mobile phone is looking nice. I am getting one problem in this phone their is no ringtone composer and i am not getting rintones any website even it's own manufacture company;s webpage if any one who knows in which webpage it's rintone please send me URL add i will compose or download. and another i don't have it's data cable.

DON'T BOTHER! It's a promising phone at first, very cute. However, my phone's screen screwed up with a big, orange spot right in the middle. I did not drop it, it wasn't exposed to harsh elements and it is less than a year old. I also know others who have had manufacturing faults. You're better off spending that extra $100 and getting a better quality phone that will last!

Well my fones broke !! Yesturdau I opend it up to find teh screen just showing clourd lines like saome demonic rainbow !! Its now bleeping to its self. turning it self on and off when it feel like it and flashing teh front LED. It still tels me ive got mesages and missed calls, but as no screen i cant work it !! And you guessed it, Its out of warranty by 2 months. Soooooo Ive got to buy a new fone. IM going to try teh Vodafone store first to see if they can do a deal but i doubt it very much. 1 month aftre buying this from a Vodfone store. I went in to but car charger and hands free kit. Was told no chance and doubt if theyd ever get any in. They sent me down teh road to a rival store !!! I bet Vodfone HQ would love that !! I even tried emailin Sagen direct. Oh dear Dont think they had any one who could read english nevr moind reply in english so that it actually made sence.
Its a sleek sexy fone. BUY build quality is not that good. unlike my old 3210. ant least i coudl by accerssories for it.
On my sagenm teh flip front is loose and teh case is cracked and that just from beeing in my pocket... Does it only come in BLUE ???? I was thinking of respraying mine.

The worst part is all the number that are stored IN THE FONE as teh sim is full. You cab back your sim card up but not the fone.. UNLESS you have a cabelt and software to link it to ur PC. Ive never found these.

Well I owuld only have one again if its was free. Id never buy one. UNless your looking for a cheap platsic fone id advise not to buy this.

I bought sagem myC5-2 mobile before 2 weeks it is working good but my mobile ringtone volume it so small even i can't listen in bus and other place... do u have any idea how i will increase it's volume now in my mobile it's rintone volume is full.

I have had this phone for nearly a year now. I don't think it is the best phone, so I'm going to have to disagree with some of the statements made. Yeah, its good when you first get it but i have discovered a few problems with mine.
Disadvatages: the phone battery is really short and my ligh on the keypads isnt working anymore (can't see them at night) and mine doesn't send mms. I wonder if thats because its a different sim card other than vodafone? hmm i dont know. When i was first using this phone I always accidently went into the vodafone live button because it was just the back button on the screen..that was annoying...and it doesnt hold that many messages on the sim card.
advantages: Easy to find your way around the phone (after a while its efficient), it flicks different colours when doing different things and you can set certain colours to do watever. It has an alright camera and a 30 second recording thing. You can make your own ringtones on there (which is awesum) and it has loudspeaker and multiple people you can send messages to at once. It also looks great and is a small phone so it fits right into your pocket!
Things it doesn't have: blue tooth or mp3 player things.
Overall this phone is alright if you don't use it that often. I use mine a heck of a lot, so my keys have actually faded and things like that...but for the money, it is probably worth it.

Hey,
Well, I'm from Holland and I bought this phone like 2 weeks ago..no problems at all! quality of the camera is quite good, although the zoom isn't very good.
p.s. for the people who's screen is black when they want to make a picture; wait a minut till the camera is 'used to' the light and watch if your screen is okey again..also check of your finger isn't in front of the camera! :)

im getting this phone but after what i have read it does not seem that good but some ppl say its a great phone so i dont know if i should any more please emails me saying if its just a good enought for talking and texting ppl wif games and thats all

At first glance it's a cute phone, but after owning it for several months I'm a little disappointed. The photo quality is rather poor, and the colours are very off. All pics that I have taken with this phone have a green tinge, and red blotches on peoples faces. The screen marks easily from the keys, and the body marks easily too. The flip action seems to be becoming loose over time too, and the battery cover has falls off. For some time now the button response has been very slow, which is rather frustrating when composing text messages. The up side is that my son loves the games that are available to download, so when I upgrade I will give him this phone.

I bought MY C5-2v and it was great when i got it then about 3 months later when i went into video it just froze the screen to unfreeze it i had to take the battery out and when i go into camera its just says cancelled!also the silver line on the front broke off! so i have to return it some day! i dont think this phone is good!

i used 2 have dis fone, it was ok untill 1day da screen just went dead and ever since, it has been blank. before dis happened it was ok, it lacked certain features.
CONNECTION:it lacked connection, it had no infrared (irDA), or no bluetooth so i could not send large files 2 all of my mates, pics, sounds, etc.
it's a good fone but it's ageing now, no mp3 player, no video, no fm radio, no infrared or bluetooth, and has a big arial.
i'd rate it

I got this phone about 7 months ago and i havent had any problems with thus far. But it has slow reaction time to button presses. It doesnt have video or anything. It gets really dirty easy. The camera is really bad quality which is what i mainly brought it for. But upgrade each year so i will be buying a way better phone! lol

hey. Today i brought a sagem c5-2. When i went into the camera all it displayed was black. Is the phone faulty or is there something i have to do?

I got my C5-2 for xmas 05 and i thought it was great until now. It is a month old and the buttons work only when they want! after reading other opions i wouldn't recomend this phone to any one because the more i read the more problems i find that every one is having!!!

I bought this phone about six months ago. At first, this seems like a good phone, however i believe i have sufficient evidence to suggest that all sagem myc5-2's will start to fault after four months. I personally know 6 people who all have this phone, all all of theres have stopped working correctly. SO ALL I CAN SAY IS DONT BUY THIS PHONE. my sagem takes about 10 minutes to turn on, and after i send a txt message i have to wait 10 minutes for the phone to unfreez itself. THIS PHONE IS ALMOST CERTAINLY GUAREENTEED TO STOP WORKING! I would urge everyone when they send there phones back to sagem to obtain a replcment phone after yours stops working to include a comlaint letter. If there is anyone reading this that is intrested in purchasing a sagem then I suggest you look for a different modle from the MYC5-2. If anyone has had similar problems with theres id love to hear from you! and if you just want to contact me then my email is nick_is_the_name@hotmail.com and my mobile is 0400713894. I have so far written a 3 page letter to sagem that i am about to send off including 28 problems i have had with this phone. DO NOT BUY IT UNLESS YOU WANA WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
