the sagem myg5 is exclusive only to orange it may come out on other networks but in this point in time its an orange phone

can anyone say anything good about the sagem myg5??? there must be some good points,and one more think ,when i bought my phone the booklet was from orange not sagem so who runs the buisness???,and has anyone obtainened any ringtones,pics or logos for this phone? ive not found a thing,and again what is this java thing i keep hearing everyone talking about????thank you

yeh the t300 is a good phone feature wise i was considering getting that phone but in the uk its 200 and i was put off by the shape of it

And you can get support and technical information, because the phone really exists on the manufacturers site :-)))
They don't feel shame at it, like sagem does at the G5 o:))

I am not from UK, but for the same price as a G5 you get a Sony-Ericsson T300, which has no Wave as Ringtone (but polyphonic Midi-Ringtones), but:
1.MMS
2.Ringtones AND Pictures can be assigned to phonebook entries (not only to groups !) So every caller can get a individual picture and ringtone.
3.WAP 2.0
4. E-Mail (POP3 und IMAP4)
5. As accessory a Camera
6. Fax and Data compatible
7. voice-dialing
And you could change covers if you don't like the look of the phone.

RUDY,i dont have a clue what your going on about,but im not in disagreement with anyone,especially people who know how to use the g5 all i want is a site were i can get ringtones for the g5,have you had any tones from the net,rudy ,if so help me find one for my mobile:)

The thing is: I hate people, who look not behind the curtain and praise the phone´, it is the best, i am so proud of it. When i critize the phone (with facts) then people become angry and write silly things like "SCHNULLI IS A SHIT LICKER".
Cool argues for a phone to buy.
Why does this phone not exist on www.sagem.com or www.sagem.fr ??
One example for understanding:
If you look at the specs on this site, it says the G5 is capable of JAVA. Really ?? Has anybody a G5 with JAVA ? orange.co.uk, who sell it, says it has not.
So before you buy, compare. But compare not with data from gsmarena. Download the manuals of the phones you want to buy. There are enough sites, where you will get them . Nearly every manufacturer (sagem not :-)) )gives you the possibility.

schnulli is giving good advice as i can see rudy,or do you know any different to what hes saying,i can believe you cant text a ringtone and i can believe you need a cable to get things from the net,

schnulli can i get screen savers from the net or logos,or anything,which i dont need to use a cable with,i had the same problems with a philips fisio, it never detected my cable modem,it only detected 56k modems,so in other words it would have took an age to download,which would have cost a fortune

so what your saying is no tunes without this cable,i may as well swap it for an everyday nokia,such as the 3330,at least ill get some change lol
