look i have 2 of these phones and they lasted me 7 months, i got the first one for 179$ from vodafone australia i loved it! but when i went away i put it in my jeans pocket, it strted to rain i put my jacket over the pocket and the rain was that heavy it went through the jacket through my jean and got wet and died! i went back to vodaphone pretty dang mad and said i want a new one that will last me, they said ohhh ok we will give u the same one, big mistake the thing just kept laggin battery lasted 1 day low memory when u wanna record that special moment only 6 seconds of video is good enough. but by february 2006 i dumped it for an lg and i wont regret it. i sold the dang sagem for 20$ dont get it complete waste of dying money. seeya llater

Who says u cant use infrared pictures as wallpapers?! Who says u cant zoom in camera or zoom out?! Who says u cant record for longer periods?! who says u cant configure gprs automatically?!... all i see is lies to tarnish the image of sagem my x-7. ive used this phone for over two years and ive done all these some people claim cannot be done with the phone im even shocked to see people post such lies! Trully some comments cannot be trusted. This phone is cool, if and only if it had a large memory capacity, a memory card slot, a blue tooth device and MP3 tones i would have classified it among the best phones of the second generation! Mind u Im still having respect with this phone!

hi i have the sagem x-7 i want to know if i can use images sent via IRDA as wallpaper cause it seems that it can't be done, i mean it doesn't appear as an option when i open the image, just the pictures taken by the camera or the ones that came with the cell phone. Is it possible?

ive had my sagem for about a year now and also had my v55 before that for eighteen months and found both reliable and camera quality was ok for a cheaper phone.. been repeatedly dropped and wet (my x7) and still going... can't complain

this phone is not that reliable, it is not portable..low memory, you cannot also change
it's wallpaper, camera is also not that good
you cannot zoom in or zoom out...it's not a good phone so beware of buying this crap... it's useless.....

had this phone for a year now... liked it.. but i'm totally sick of the polyphonic ringtone system.. the tones sound so bad and you can barely hear it when someone calls... apart from that.. the features are not too bad for a $179 phone.. vodafone australia's own software does get a little annoying sometimes though..
oh.. by the way.. i have a USB cable for this phone.. used it heaps of times

i have dis fone n it has some annoyin things about it
1)when u record a vidoe it talked a long time 2 save
2)it doesnt recoed 4 very long
3)camera is crap!
4)its heavy
5)not enogh memory
there for u should NOT get this fone if your about 2 get it DONT!!!!!!!!!!

sagem is nice nd smart, despite d fact dat its possed little or limitations in both video, sound, nd d Memory. Its browsing stuff is so vibrant and potent, it would have been beta if its has a Portable USB cable but av found one but nt suitable 4my phne. But some1 has found a Com cable of wich i want 2confirm it 4rm any1 or dat person who has connectd his/her sagem thr2 a computer. I can boldly say that sagem myx7 is the best of sagem mobile startin 4rm d least before mine. The only problm its has is dat it doesnt have USBcable.

In the called list outgoing & incoming calls are together. No speed dial (you can't assign a number in the dial pad),no voice command and no one in Puerto Rico or USA has accesories for this cellphone including SunCom Wireless who sold the phone to their clients. Also if you want the address book in the phone and in the SIM card you can do it but you will have the same person 2 times.

this is the best phone i ever had.my only problem is that he has no profiles,short video time etc.but all of the rest is great especialy video,i can say that he is better than same one on k700,k500,3220,6230etc.Only i dont know how to activate black list,can somebody help me please?:lol::)

well,cool by all standards. A very versatile phone although with some limitations: limited video recording time, no bluetooth, slow reactions, insufficient memory capacity etc.
This might not be a nokia, or an ericsson but one thing i know is that It Is Simply Fantastic!!!

i got my Sagem MY-X 7 last August. i have had trouble with it, the first time it froze N when i turned it off it kept turning on so we sent it 2 melb and they replaced it, i got it back but the charger kept falling out but i just ignored it, i find the screen is VERY easy to to scratch and sumtink is wrong with th battery now it wont stay in when i take the top off, Apart form that this is a AWESOME as phone, its very easy to use and is the best fone so far that i have gotten.

i love it, . one problem, i cant get program to work irda on windows xp, can neone help? Otherwise,sounds, pics,memory etc all good.

I have it for 10 months and i think is a good phone. It's kind of large but it can do many things. The only bad thing at this phone is the dalay... somtimes is very anoying... A good phone although

i've bought sagem myX-7 + i found COM cable to connect.I really like this phone,as it is realy stylish 'n' beautiful.Keypad backlight is shiny white which is impressive.Camera is good,although i think it is a bit too dark,but on computer screen it looks quite accetable.Video recorder is better than 6020.Sound recorder is great too.Menu icons aren't boring 'n' skins are well painted.What about display...well..It is good,but standart pictures looks a bit poor due to their poor realisation.As for me memory is quite big.Games are funny,i've downloaded new without problems.Battery works about 4 days,with normal use.What about disadvantages...Well,well,well.I really hate cheap plastic covers.And one more problem..When i get more than ten SMS messages,phone starts laging.So in case to be protected from getting nervous with that lag,i must erase almost all my messages.but i think thats all.I connected myX-7 with computer succesfuly.So it is very good value for money and i really like it.Highly recomended...
