This phone sucks. I tried to work with it for a year now and its been letting me down. And now the touch screen on the phone STOPPED WORKING. I was only going to use it until I got a new phone but I decided to keep it because it has all of my contacts on it. But now I got a new phone I can't even look at my contacts anymore. So thank you Samsung for making the absolute worst most difficult phone I've ever had

I have this phone at the moment and I would warn everybody who's living outside America to DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME buying this piece of shit of a touch screen phone.It is a waste of money.....! The phones' internet browser is not working nothing is working that needs internet acess and yo add to it,it don't have wifi. Screw you AT&T your the worst!!!!!

I used to have this phone. I started having problems with the Touchscreen and I couldn't recalibrate it and when I did it would last for a minute and go back to being messed up. This phone is definitely outdated and I hated it after I started having problems with it. Buy a better phone!

am having serious problem with my new samsung A897, when the phone is lock and i did open with it .. it's keep telling me to press the lock button and when i make calls i cant hear the person am calling only if i put it on speak ...pls help me out???

900 hsdpa does not work I have the phone unlocked using orange network it does not pick up 3g on the 900 band. Everithing works fine but only on edge even though this phone is supposed to support quad band 3g. I have other phones live my samsung galacy ace works great on the 900 hsdpa band. The purpose o me gettig this phone was to use a usb modem and back up phone sad to see the 900 3g band does not work. 3g on the 850 band works great but my internet provider which I have a contract with uses only 900
