MWC 2012: Samsung overview

MWC 2012

GSMArena team, 27 February 2012.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 hands-on

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the one getting all the attention at the Samsung booth, but the company is actually using the event to showcase two other slates it introduced recently - the Galaxy Tab 2 duo.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is meant to be the most affordable ICS-running tablet that the Koreans will offer. It comes with a 1GHz dual-core CPU and a 7" screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 certainly feels smooth, but it doesn't have the performance punch offered by the quad-core chipsets of some competitors, nor the cool extra fucntionality provided by the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 10.1. It's pricing should reflect that, though, so it's should all be cool.

We had the chance to welcome the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to our office right before the MWC kicked off, so we knew what that one was all about. Still, here's another batch of live photos of the slate, coming straight from the MWC floor.
