But ativ se is doing more than I expected in terms of performance.i m coming from android.used s6 oneplus one z3 compact and some other but some times I used to see a little bit lag in all of them but here it is just going on n on n on. I will use hacks when I finally see a fully working upgrade used by any developer.

Ordered today. Wanted a wp but at low price. Got a fair deal on ebay. Hardware is awesome. Let's see what real life performance is. It's nearly an year that no one had posted here. Seems pretty odd.

Windows is great i think it is better than hangroid but it doesnt have any apps in iran(windows)

Anyway in 2 years you will want a new phone and that one for sure will be updated. And all the applications that will be in store available for win 10 will be also available for win 8.1 so no point. I have an Ativ S that is 2 years old and I am very happy with it since I got the update of win 8.1. I don't play games on it and I don't feel like something is missing from the OS or is slow.

Hai friends if ur going buy a windows phone then go for nokia or microsoft , update is 1st available on these company devices . Windows 10 update is conformed for all nokia and microsoft devies ( even lumia 520 )

I've had the Ativ S since 2012. I moved from the iPhone 4s as I didn't like the shape of the iPhone 5. What a great move! As an Office 365 user I had sync problems with my Calendar on the iPhone but the whole experience on the Ativ S has been seamless. Changeable battery, Micro SD, great camera and flash, brilliant screen. I've used this phone for nearly three years, I've dropped it many times and never used a screen saver and but the screen doesn't have a single scratch. Now that I've upgraded it to Win 8.1 and have Cortana working the experience has just got better. So the downside is almost no one sold the Ativ S and in the UK I cant get the Ativ SE. I've recently had the Lumia 1020 and the Sony X3 and they cant compete with my Ativ S. Even with their big pix cameras. So, "Hey Samsung!, I want to upgrade and I'm waiting. When can I buy your windows phone in the UK?"

Windows Phone 8.1 is a marvel. It is better than Android once you get used to it, but not without Microsoft Mobile (nay, Nokia) apps. Stick to android Samsung...

This is the best Samsung smartphone.
After few years of countless Android junk,
Samsung finally understood that some people
like WIndows Mobile! And they like it for a good reason:
PROS:
-----
-Smooth Lag free scrolling (makes browsing super fast)
-Very fast internet explorer
-Superb design
-Superb virtual keyboard
-Superb auto correction of text
-Bright screen (not as bright as if it was LCD though)
MOST OF THE PROS above
belong to Microsoft's operating system.
So why not produce more high end windows phones?
