got from expansys uk ok phone my opinion sonim xp1 better.got sony c702 as well ok differnt types of tough phone,specs ultimate b2700 and c702 sonim ranks for me only downside price also in short supply.xp3 hope it lives up to the hype.b2700 good phone so is the sony cheaper and more bells and whistles on both like all 3 .xp1 no nonsense talk and text, c702,b2700 high tech and quad band. you choose / battery good on all and construrtion.

On the market there are a lot of rugged PDA and smart phones with military specs but we speak about accessible handsets for average user. I will not use this phone on oil platform or in Irak war, but for sure I will use it when hunting or mountaineering or going fishing. So hit the market Samsung 2700!

Sonim XP3 kicks this phone off!!! I hope gsmarena will also feature it here, although it's likely to be since XP1 was featured.. Fantastic fantastic phone, super rugged and with better features now.. I hope it wouldn't be too expensive..

The phone is announced on samsung web sites in Germany, Holland and France, but not in UK. I am in Romania, so it will pass centuries until I will be able to buy it from here.

Phones for use in rural activities/military/police or adventure holidays etc should take reception seriously i.e Airo A25 & Sonim XP1.I both live & work in a poor reception area (regardless of network)& backpack a lot.Difficult to do a comparison test due to the number of variables
