All this time ive been thinking the Samsung Bound was the most magical phone on the market, that was until I discovered the Samsung E410!! Not only a fantastic shell look, but it also doubles up as a toilet seat!! The features are also excellent: GPRS: No. HSCSD: No. Edge: No. 3G: No. WLAN: No. Bluetooth: No. Infrared Port: No. Camera???? Dont be stupid. GPS? No. SPEAKERPHONE!?!?! no....

Great phone!!!! had it three months now, and cant fault it. i am a powdercoater by trade. deals with very fine dusty particals (think of flour in the air), day in and day out. Previous phone (6110n)had to be pulled apart and cleaned every night! didnt last 6 months. Not with this baby, clean as the day i bought it, no powder anywhere in the battery compartment or under the sim. I am also an avid 4wd enthusist and this thing has been dropped in mud and all sorts, love just bein able to rinse it off. not great on the features, but onn hell of a tough phone!

werner, 12 Apr 2009does the b2700 have a navigator? You mean smg like a GPS Navigator?
The answer is no... This is smg which is very important and if Samsung include GPS in the next version or some software as Simbian/ Windows Mobile it will be just great. But for now I can not find some info for the upcoming models from this category. I must say that I'm rather disappoint from there latest Samsung ( B2100 I think ) because it is weaker that this model...
Anyway I think I will buy this phone because I do some outdoor activity, which can harm my phone, not so often but anyway it happens and I will be happy if I can rely on my phone.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2009Great phone !!!! but software could be better :-P By the... morei know what you feel.
i deleted all wap profiles to avoid unwanted connections.

but it is better than previous samsung phones,
like sgh-u300 did not let to choose between sim and phone memory.
and there were no option to have ringing + vibrating together.
maybe there were more not understandable options before.
                  but this b2700 is super.

I've also run into problems with the phone repeatedly rebooting itself. A fix that seems to work is doing a hard reset by entering the following code into the phone (after you've backed up your contacts and other data, of course): *2767*3855#

This appears to reset the phone to factory settings on a deeper level than the "Master reset" option available in the menu, and appears to (at least temporarily) fix the problem.

I received this phone from Samstore in Ill., and I did not know at the time the phone was coming from the UK. Last week the phone began to reboot quite often. This will cause you to drop a call. The phone keeps going back to when the phone is first turned on and begins to search for a tower. I e-mailed Samsung in the U.K., three times now. They gave me the name, phone number, and address to their repair location. I made three international calls to end up listening to a recording and being placed on hold. I never was able speak to anyone and they have not responded to my four e-mails.

Played with a B2700 in a 3 shop here in the UK while looking for something more sophisticated. However, I was actually quite impressed! Very very fast (snappier and easier to navigate than my S8300 Tocco 2), full of useful outdoor features and great industrial design. What really did it was the speed and ease of navigation of the interface. Proves my/our? belief that the DPad is the best way to quickly achieve a task on a hand held device - no touch screen can match it.

                                  Hello,

                                  I have two questions:
How long the battery of this phone lasts? I mean it's 1300 mAh - which is a lot, and the display is quite small.
The second one is a bit strange ;-) Even if the phone do not have any OS, as Symbian or Windows Mobile did anyone have tried to run on this phone a GPS?
I know that the display is small but anyway with additional device via Bluetooth maybe its possible... or maybe not ;-)
I really like this phone but sometimes the GPS is really handy, specially of you are somewhere in the mountains.

I'm rather dissapointed, small display and weaker Cam than the B2700 model ,. I can not see any new major features in the new model ;-(
