Guys...especially new useres...please keep 1 thing in mind that 3gp video format is supported for this phone...also those whoever having problem accessing after connecting to pc/laptop please do setup 1st cd only with the kit...!!! this is a great phone :D
and I really am proud to have 1....thanks and enjoy.

And about the Flex Ribbon, Whew!!!!!!!!!!, I had a bad experiance with samsung dude!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, now I purchase the SE SATIO, and never had problems with it, its a great phone.

        INSTALL GAMES/APPLICATIONS in YOUR CORBY PRO !!!


        10. connect the wifi network, start internet.

        11. Point the corby pro browser to http://192.168.0.1/corby, where corby is the virtual directory configured in IIS pointing to actual directory on hard drive.

        12. You will get the list of files on your corby pro browser, select the jad file of the game/application and see the message you are getting , Go Ahead !!!


        Now you can download the contents from your laptop or pc exactly in the same way as if you are downloading it from mobile operators without paying the network charges.

          6. Use jadmaker to get jad file out of the jar files.

          7. put both jad and jar in the same directory which is virtual directory in personal web server of IIS.

          8. Assign IP address 192.168.0.1 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0 to your laptop/pc wifi card

          9. Assign IP address 192.168.0.2 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0 to your Corby Pro

            Hi ALL Corby Pro owners, here is the tried and tested method to install games and applications much easier then what VENU has suggested.

            Requirements: LAPTOP/PC with wifi support

            First of all please set the default storage to memory card for WAP Downloads in your corby pro.

            1. Get all the jar files, mp3, mp4, flash objects etc and store it in a directory on your laptop/PC which you want to download to your corby pro

            2. Make that directory a Virual directory in Personal Web server of IIS in XP.

            3. GO to IIS - Default Web Site - Properties - HTTP headers - MIME File Types

            4. Add the following 2 new file types so that your PC/LAPTOP becomes a WAP GATEWAY !!!

            a. Associated Extension: .jad, Content Type: text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
            b. Associated Extension: .jar, Content Type: application/java-archive

                  I guess this happens if your connection is really slow.
                  I actually tried it in other wifi spots and they work just fine. I can't stream yt if I'm at home coz my internet is slow.


                  I hope this clears things up. ^_^

                    Phone is really nice in all features. but the browser needs a lot of improvement. as well as, some more applications needs to be included with the phone.

                      i hope someone can help me. i just bought the phone.. its good so far.. just the youtube streaming, im having problems wif it. when i click a video, it says buffering 0% for a long time, then "connection to a server has been lost." im using wifi, connection from home. anybody help?

                          HEY ALL!!
                          For all the people who are interested to buy SAMSUNG CORBY PRO...I am a proud owner of one... and the phone rocks...

                          Samsung technology and customer service has really impressed me...i was unable to connect my airtel wifi to my phone...but these people called back twice to solve my query...

                          Touch is too good...camera quality lacks a bit... but sound and other features are nice...

                          Yet to test 3G...will update soon....

                                i just bought this 2 days ago and yes, its good for fast typers. i thought i;d have an issue as i message a lot..but even the touch keypad reacts perfectly.. a few cons are
                                1. delivery reports as messages
                                2. when connected to PC cant use the phone..
                                still discovering the phone though...

                                      I bought the phone today and found out that the forums are correct.The phone shuts off everytime you start receiving or making video calls . Based from other users, they end up waiting for replacement which also has the same problem so they tend to change the model or ask for refund.
