Yarr i am planning to buy this phone anyone already using this phone plz tell me
1. The durability of th slider and keypad performance?
2.Can we see movies on it after puting into it from PC does it hangs with heavy data.
3. As it has all the features Touch,WiFi,3G,3Mp cam is thier any other option with same features and rate in other brands.
4. How's its sound quality is it good on loudspeakers.
Plz do reply whoever using this phone and flash is neccessary?

... moreya sure...tht ws the same problem i ws facing...c as far as i knw college wifi use a proxy server...something lik 172.16.1.20...(thts my proxy server urs must b different)...and a port say 8080...so wen it detects wifi everything gets detcted automatically...except fr proxy...u need to put proxy in the proxy address tab...it shud be placed lik..172.16.1.20:8080
nw in internet setting --goto profiles and set it as default connection...
u done nw!!!hpe this helps..

I have used it on wifi extensively and it works really smoothly. Battery is good. I am able to see youtube videos. Slider is smooth and stable, seems secure. Overall, good build quality. Great combination of style and features at its price point.

yaar plz mujhe step wise bata sakte ho aap mai kaise settings ya jo bhe change krna hota hai isse activate krne ke liye woh karu....

guys have checked wifi on dis phone.
1.this phone has ad hoc feature thru which u can make ur laptop a wifi router and can access net with ease without having wifi connection..this feature is nt even availble in nokia 5800 and blackberry.
2.google map works gr8..browsing is fast(though ad hoc is considered to be slow)
3.m nt able to stream you tube videos...(may b coz m using it on a proxy server)..its showing disconnected every time i open you tube gadget
4.IM is not working..thrs some problem with palringo messenger server which is provided with the phone
5.have installd opera mini and go talk messenger which works fine
6.overall browsing is good..have to check on normal router as well ...vil keep u updated

n your review it is given that this phone supports DIVX flies but i am not able to do so. it gives a message unsuported file.

as u r using this phone u have better idea of this phone..i m planning to buy this phone my main purpose of buying this phone coz i wanted to get a wiifi enabled phone..hows the performance if u have used ..my priority is youtube , hows the downloading and running of videos on this phone?..thogh it has got 16 m colour screen still i find it not better than even lg cookie's screen thats a main concern..please reply

pm, 03 Jan 2010Hi all, Bought samsung corby pro on 30th dec... quite lik... more2000 contacts? is this for real cause it says on the specs 1000 entries only.. and does it automatically connect you on the net? like the iphone/G1? do i have to do something about the APN settings? its a big hassle and costly if it connects via service provider always
