The battery lasts only 4 hours, 5 maximum. My phone hangs all the time. Can Samsung do anything about it?

Can anyone please comment on the battery life and camera performance? I'm considering buying this phone but I'd wanna know how it fares in cam performance, being that it has no flash... I had a samsung before and the photo and video quality was just below par. :/

amongst the choices, BB8520 is my fav :)
but m considering this too...the only issue I have with samsung is its limited sms storage capacity, so just wanna confirm if that is the same case here? can someone please advise?
