To Disable Channel location option, go to settings-->Phone-->All Calls-->Channels, and uncheck the option enable channels & receive channel list option. After that you won't be getting those crazy network messages.

Both are excellent phone. Only OS difference one is Windows Mobile and second is Symbian. B7320 is more budget phone than E71
