i dont think dat going to winmo 6.5 would allow the resolution to go up to 256colors or greater since the processing power to render that number colors is too much which makes the usage of the cellphone slower . . . not unless they create a cellphone with a highperformance dedicated graphics processor then i believe that even 16m colors is even possible . . .

ako eto, 22 Sep 2009@ vaddakus 65k is the maximum colors you can get on a winm... moreit is definitely better than e63. it is on the same lines as e71 but with a higher processor, more ram and of course winmo as the OS. Price wise better than e71, build quality is also on the similar lines. it has a metal frame and then some platic. E71 is all metal and sleeker.

vadakkus, 21 Sep 2009I would say the same thing.. I had made up my my to buy it.... moreit is way better than e63 spec wise. E63 also is very plasticy and catches finger prints all over. 65k colors is winmo's limitation and not the phone's. Winmo6.5 might help in changing that.

this phone have GPS function confirmed 100%. I've just test google earth on it this morning.
Damned... how can they make this phone so cheap.
My standard package comes with:
1 battery, 1 charger, 1 headset, 1 usb cable, 1 manual + CD + warranty, 1GB microSD, 1 external back casing.
I love this back casing first time i see a phone gives me this accessoris. it serves as protector as well.

anyway im planning on replacing my e63 with this, do you think its worth it ? ? ? is sound any better that e63/e71 ? ? ? does it come with a pouch/holster in the box ? ? ?

Went to the store and when i got it i realixed it looks good but feels all so plasticky (The entire body including the screen is made of not so good plastic) and build quality is cheap, so are the colors it comes in and the screen picture quality (only 65K colors).
I agree performance and features for this price (13500 Bangalore) are out of this world! (256MB RAM OMG!!) but the feel of the phone is far from satisfactory. Oh and it makes you leave fingerprints all over it! I absolutely hate that. Thinking of settling for a E63 now.
You could have done better Samsung! with atleast 256K colors and a metallic or semi-metallic body this phone would have done wonders!

Anyone tried RealVGA on this phone.
I hate the fact that everything is displyaed so big.
I want realVGA running on this for my girlfriend's as i have it in my I780.
But when i installed RealVGA, it cannot boot up and stuck at greenscreen WM6.1.
with Hard reset i can recover, but i cant seem to find anywhere on internet about RealVGA for this phone.
Help..???
