Is there a typo on the HSDPA speed of 3.6 Mbps? The other new Omnia II of same period is having HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps.

Its price is very disappointing. I think than this phone is good enough for this money but Samsung had told that this will cost 350-400 euros. If Omnia Pro will cost 500euros in big European countries, then in Greece where i live it will cost at least 550euros. Tou much for me...!!!

Ok everybody. I am here to clarify many things about this phone. With some of the comments I see, I can understand that quite a few of don't have much experience with Windows Mobile.
Well let me tell you this.
If you don't plan to take enough 'care' of a Windows Mobile phone, you will have problems (or atleast some things you won't like).
Now this phone has a 800Mhz processor, that means it's really fast for a mobile. With an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5, it should be even faster.
And with all the RAM business. I am 90% sure that it will have more than 135MB or whatever some other sites are saying. It will probably have 256MB or 288MB. Overall, this is (In my opinion) the best phone out in the public market.
But I am only a 14 year old kid and I just really want it for music, video and MSN, LOL.

Oh my God, the specs on this phone is incredible. Right now, I'm seriously torn between the Omnia HD and this phone.
The WVGA resolution, QWERTY, and Windows Mobile makes me lean towards this phone, but I would like to know the audio quality of it. Omnia HD has virtual 5.1 sound and really nice speaker placement, but there seems to be little information on what is available for this phone.
Man, I can't wait for more information to come out.

I compared with N97. Both devices are excellent.
But B7610 has little edge on N97.
I found on GSMARENA Samsung B7610 OmniaPRO is more powerful processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. It is sure that Windows is more powerful than Symbian. You can handle like your laptop.
Who will be the winner? Ofcourse, it all depends on the price.

Can anyone tell me if this phone will be FULLY compatible with AT&T? I currently have the SGH-F480 and am having problems with its Internet functions and reception. I'm looking at getting either this phone or the current i900, but don't want the problems that I'm experiencing with my F480.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2009Please can anyone tell me if, as well as being able to use ... moreYes, it is said to support virtual keypad as well. And it's good, because with 3.5" big full touch, no virtual keypad support will be a pity, isn't it?

Please can anyone tell me if, as well as being able to use the pull-out qwerty keyboard for texting, is it possible to input text using the touch screen in portrait mode, as you can with the Tocco F480? Many thanks
