madhan, 06 Jan 2010i just had a look at the image of samsung onmia pro on box ... moreI hear familiar squeals for WinMo which is a serious OS and if dealt properly is the BEST OS that provides you with Business as well as Lifestyle solutions. The camera and other deppts had issues which have been solved right from Diamond2 from HTC and B7610 is quite good too in Camera Deppt.
AMOLED screen on this shows deepest of blacks which can be demonstrated when you use the properitory Samsung Black Theme and apps like RSS reader and Settings on this device. I regret to say that your post demonstrates you have not read this forum which should have been the least to do before posting.
The weather demonstrated in B7610 ads is only possible with Msn Weather and Msn Finance which are part of MSN Direct available ONLY with 6.5 upgrade which shall come around the end of the 1st qtr if my info is correct.
Either you have a defective device which is rare or you just need to be patient and understand WinMO and I assure you if you do that you won't opt for any other system at least for the sake of killer apps like MyPhone..65k colour limitation does cause banding as the screen is gorgeous AMOLED but that is all which is to complain.

i just had a look at the image of samsung onmia pro on box that has a cool wthr widget in screen but its missing in my phone do any one have this and i cant downlaod any widget frm net it says no result

hello mr.hunk do u have the same display that is blur when vewing pic or when uding cam so blur especially black colour is missing where ever black it looks like grey with some patches do u have the same problem bec i rest the phone using soft rest and hard rest but it reamins same
actually this is my first windows phone i dono much abt this will it look like this r i shud take it to service center pls reply am so confused
phone is good but i hate the colour limitation

madhan, 05 Jan 2010s rahul i had same problem i dono its bec of 65 k limitatio... morebuddy for ur kind information jet is java fone, n omnia is windows based phone, der is a 65k limation is der if u use any windows based phone whether u use htc , samsung(windows based ), or sony xperias.
buddy plz dnt compare dis beauty with jet

madhan, 05 Jan 2010s rahul i had same problem i dono its bec of 65 k limitatio... moredude i think der is prob wid ya omnia, m using mine frm last 1 mnth i hvnt noticed such probs, do 1 thing just restore it to factory default
dis is one of the best model frm omnia.

This phone is great in spec... I am using this 1 for t past 1 month... Battery life sucks... When i take photos camera hangs.... Big disappointing... Am planning to sell this mobile....

rahul, 03 Jan 2010i also do have this prob... poor backgrund in work..... dis... mores rahul i had same problem i dono its bec of 65 k limitation this phone has very poor display especially black even in came terrible every black colour looks grey and if u opn then memo so bad back black display was blur do any one have this problem
i was using samsung jet before a week its so nice amazed with perfomance thats y i buy this but am totally disap with this i just bought in universal for 22.5 k so bad even wen watching movie blur even vga cam is better than this am totaly dissapointed with this

i think ppl who use this typ of phone can amaze but i was using jet fantastic no comment abt that nice phone now am missing that

viz, 05 Jan 2010the first thing u shld do is hard reset it. it should be fi... morefirst of thanks viz.... for helpin me.... but i went to the samsung center ... and shouted a lot at them ..... they will give me DO on thursday and written note from the company that i should get a new sealed PACK BOX.... in replacement to this one..... lets see wat happens and how soon they do this...

rahul, 05 Jan 2010guys i took the set three days back and and since last nit ... morethe first thing u shld do is hard reset it. it should be fine after that. u need to hold lock + WL buttons and restart(reset button). then immediately press send + cancel. the format menu pops up. press send to format it and then restart. it shld fix all issues and it will be good as new. good luck

guys i took the set three days back and and since last nit there is no sound from the set ...it only comes wen i connect the head set,... and wen i switch it off on restart it asks that wether a headset,headphone or tv out is connected... ?

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2010I have a BSNL mobile connection.wap connection types sometimes do not work. so try to used the gprs connection and check. if it does not work create a new connection and manually select it. check if it works by browsing with opera and then try google maps.
