How long does it take this phone's battery to be fully charged from zero, I current use Samsung B7320 pro which takes 3 hrs 45 minutes to charge, this is why I want to sell the phone, not good for anyone in a country like mine where 4 hours a day electricity is not guaranteed. I just wonder why samsung take so long to charge when Nokia smartphones charge under 2 hours.

I have not been able to make google maps work on this device in India. I get the following error when i run google maps app... "Network Unavailable. This program requires a data connection. Please contact your carrier or visit www.google.co.uk/gmm/configure.html on your computer for more info.
Error: wininetHttpError [0 12007])
Retry
Exit".
I have a GPRS/EDGE Data connection and it is working fine and I have been able to browse the internet without any problems.

My friends below need some feedback on screen senstivity as well as call recording possibilities especially with the limitations of Win Mo 6.1.
1. Screen senstivity is GOOD. However the UI is lousy with SPB Mobile Shell it zips along. PErsonally I like resistive screens so that I can use a stylus as a) I live in a warm country and would not like to screw my gorgeous touch screen; and b) I can use any thing from a finger to toothpick on a resistive screen. Capacitive ones are more sensitive as they record"touch" instead of "press" recorded by resitive screens but can not be operated with alternatives as of now.
2. For recording calls there is another free app available at www.pocketpcfreeware.mobi and also cabexpress named ACR recorder. Worked beautifully with my touch pro and diamond...works equally well with B7610...

I suggest our friends beyond the atlantic as well as those in Europe understand that devices are distributed according to market status. India is still predominately a 2G market and even MSN Direct does not support this part of the world hence 6.5 does not make much sense here as of now... so while our bretheren shape the face of world IT we wait for things to happen here LOL

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2010Hey darkyogi does opera mini 5 beta work perfectly well on ... moreYes, but I am not very happy with the java application on this device...could be my naivity too; the bloody thing shows no programmes installed but when you try to reinstall the same program it shows the entire list ...so if you can handle the Java right both Opera Mini 5 Beta as well as Bolt Browser 1.5 run fine on this. However still better you find out the opera mini 5 beta cab at pocketpcfreeware.mobi as that keeps the program as a separate one in the programs menu and does not hide it obscurely in the Java. As a matter of fact Opera 10 Beta is a better option as it has turbo option too to expedite things...just be careful to click YES when it asks to be the default browser, and later you can open the settings of your Opera 9.5 default browser and check it as default again. If you dont do this the IE becomes the default browser which no one likes especially the one with WinMo6.1 with which this device is being offered in India.

Anybody out there who bought the b7610 in Trivandrum? Univercell has no clue when this will be available at their outlets - although their Bangalore counterparts already have it.. But the Bangalore guys are giving only 2GB card at 22.7K - surely a sore deal !!
Where do I get hold of this in Trivandrum?

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2010hey m phone background in work mode has poor grapics do any... morei also do have this prob... poor backgrund in work..... distorted image type.... but i think it is the problem with every omnia pro... and one more thing it doesnt have a good black colour recognition.... ..while clicking images indoor for eg. a black sofa looks distorted .... do u also have this???

Nabs, 31 Dec 2009I want to buy either the omnia II or the B7610, i like both... moreOmnia II has internal 8GB. Couple of points on Omnia Pro B7610 ... better screen customization with W&L (Work and Life mode), better camera (more brighter shots), better audio output, qwerty keypad. Again, the Omnia II was designed with winmo6.1 and then upgraded to winmo6.5. the omniapro came with winmo6.5 which is better from the start! u decide!
