Guys Samsung India and Some samsung European websites list Omnia pro 7610 as having 1gb internal rom while i checked my Omnia pro 7610 has only 512 Mb rom (Main Storage), 256MB ram(Program Ram), and 2GB Internal (My storage) can other people confirm what is thier ROM (Main Storage) as this will impact if we can upgrade to win mobile 7 as Omnia pro 7610 meet all hardware requirements for winMO 7 except 1gb ROM

guys please help me out i am serioulsy planning to buy this handset and have confirmed its prices min = 21-k .... but everyday wen i check opinions here i get a little confused . wether such an investment will be worth it or not...
my requirements are basically on every thing
1-good music ,2- good camera and vid rec. 3- wi-fi(main) 4- office editor and viewer and good looks.
5- good processing speed
plz help me out and please suggest wat should i do .
i have to buy the set on 1st JAN. any other set if this is not GOOD....
PLEASE HELP ME OUT.... I'LL BE VERY THANKFUL

Tell me u mentioned using spbshell n sense software, has the lag gone now? Also how is the touch sensitivity? I agree for 21.5k its a damn good deal but do u hav any regrets buying this one?

LAGBOY, 23 Dec 2009Ok, so i just got my Samsung Omnia Prop B7610 like 3 days a... moreAfter watching the UI of My Omnia Pro B7610for a few days I got SPB mobile shell followed by the HTC sense cab available at xda-developers site( can find the link at www.pocketnow.com). Juiced it up by applying the lovely Black theme of Samsung as the wallpaper too and now I have a phone not only looking fantastic but outperforming my Touch Pro and Diamond like anything.
Here, that is in India, they have supplied the device with WinMo 6.1 Pro and the Opera 9.5 in MUCH better than on my previous HTC devices...it even plays EMBEDDED VIDEOS on most of the sites effortlessly. To make quick browsing and to avoid automatic rotation I also use Opera Mobile 10 Beta. Works beautifully and there is always Skyfire for variety. So...great hardware...lousy interface especially the home screens + programme screens. But great at INR 21,500/-

Guys which one is good Omania-II or omania 7610. I want a slim and sleek phone with all features. Donot need a slide keypad.
but it seems omania-II is very bigger (118mm) when compared to other phones.
Very much worried whether these phones will fit my pockets or not.

The major differences I could figure out are in the processor speed, Operating system, screen type, size & resolution, Battery power internal memory & RAM. In all the above mentioned difference Samsung is better except the Internal storage (mini has 8 GB and omnia has 2 GB). Feature wise Omnia has Business card reader, Document editor, DivX certified and mobile tracker where as mini has Digital compass, Document Viewer, Flash Lite 3.
Also, Omnia is cheaper than mini around 1.5 to 2K.
My major requirements are A-GPS, E-book / PDF viewer / reader, E-mail and calendar synch, Wi-Fi, Camera (not much) and build quality (my mobile falls on an average once or twice in a week).
Can anybody help who has used both the phones?

The phone does not have stereo speaker.The audio quality does not come near any nokia express series or for that instance any good music phone

Krey, 25 Dec 2009N97mini or this phone ???definately this phone - b7610. touch wiz is lot better than nokia & symbian. windows mobile may not be appealling but is very well covered by touch wiz and is a whole lot stable than symbian. other benits are faster pocessor, better ram & bigger screen.
