Gaurav_confused!, 23 Dec 2009Hi all, I am in a great confusion over which phone to bu... morego by deduction logic fist of all decide if u want slide out keyboard or not, i want it So i'll go for it over omnia2 and omnia hd, camera is same omnia 2 , if camera is more important go for omnia hd. second is if u want windows mobile or symbian ( or whatever omnia HD has).if multimedia is ur main concern not full fledged enterprise class OS then HD. I have using WinMO since ages, want Windoes mobile . so omnia hd is out . . so choice is pretty simple

I am in a great confusion over which phone to bu... morehi gaurav i just tell u wat abt samsung omnia pro b7610 has lagging its true and its slow bec of os that it as and music is not at its best as the samsung jet and omnia i8910 has bec they both have 5.1 wich will surly makes diff frm others so wen u watching video u will feel it and has good music players
and video recording has hd in omnia i810 is so good when 720@480 bec when u connect it to tv it will be good in clarity when 720@480 when compare to omnia pro b7610 has 640@360 and u know something amnia hd ahs symbian os so sure u have tons of applications free for download so u can install doc editor from free application sites
then u looking for games rite it has graphic acc so no problem all games will work fine but u cant compare with i phone bec iphone famous for graphic and it supports heavy graphic games but this has good grapics so u can go for any games including motion games which comes with aslpha 3d that supp motion gaming
finally i recom samsung omnia hd i8109 is best and thats the one will fulfill ur all needs

Hi all,
I am in a great confusion over which phone to buy out of the three very deadly handsets recently introduced by Samsung i.e. Samsung OmniaPro b7610, omnia2 i8000 and omnia i8910.
I am looking for well over all balanced phone which has both business and multimedia features.
Here are some of my criteria’s:
1) LAG- have heard that omnia pro has lag in it as compared to other two is that true and noticable? also will this increase considerably after some time?
2) Music- one of the most imp. criterias Which one has the best music though as per gsmarena omnia pro is the winner, though would like to get confirmed by somebody who has tested all three.
My criteria for judging music is good bass and realistic sound effect though i pretty much like the music on bb curve 8520.
3) Camera- though HD has the best camera how is the camera for omnia2 and pro (is their any diff between the two). I mean is it compromisable over the other feature of pro and omnia2.
4) Video Recording- Not so imp feature on my list but still it should be descent means it shouldnt be that recording on the other two is pathetic.
5) Gaming- another important requirement which of the handsets is good for gaming i.e high quality graphics, compatibility with variety of games, free availability of high graphics games. (does any of them matches to gaming experience on iphone??) also can i play same games like fifa, nfs which i play on my lappi on pro and omnia2 etc as they are also windows.
Also can I play games on pro with the help of accelerometer and qwerty pad?
6) Push mail- which of this has support for push mails
7) business features- omnia pro and omnia 2 has office editor where as HD doesnt have it (biggest prob with HD :(). so how much is the licensing cost also can u get it free anywhere? just asking...:)
8) Upgrade chances: which one of the three has maximum chances for getting upgrades frm samsung firware or anyother thing (also can u run Windows7 on pro and 2 when it is realesed)
Overall, which one is a better phone as I am very confused and I am looking for a handset which can be there for me atleast 3 years. would be grateful if some body can provide real insight.

I am contemplating between this and the N97 Mini. Let me know which version of winmo you are running, also apart from lagging is there any other problem with this phone?

if u r seriously considering to buy this phone, wait a couple more weeks for Sony's X2. U can then make a clear comparison ... buying and re-selling WM phones can cause huge losses especially when t demand is quite poor. Suggest to wait n see both. Omnia II on the other hand is a great device with no exception. If its Samsung, i'd go for Omnia II or i8910HD.

Ok, so i just got my Samsung Omnia Prop B7610 like 3 days ago and im still getting used to it, but it seems to be LAGGING a LOT!! Can anyone tell me why? I have been reading other reviews, and it seems they are blaming the WINDOWS program? i persoannly dont know, but all i know is that it's lagging like a Bi-artch :|
i spent heaps on this phone and dont want it to stuff up, anyone know how to stop the lagging? :S

This phone is easily available for 22K now. Wait till next week and you will def get soemthing free with it at stores like Chroma et all. I bought it for 22K with 8GB card free through a known dealer. Its been 2 weeks. The phone is amazing. read somewhere that slider is shaky. Its soft but not shaky. Don;t compare it with Nokia N97 kind of slider. This display is amazing, photo quality great. This phone also as Dnse but it sounds better with SRS Sorround with Wow effect. FM recording is great. I guess its has some algorithm for suppressing noise. For past 2 weeks no issues with Windows. Had heard that Windows hangs, reboots etc but nothing in last 14 days. The battery life is good. I genrally talk 1.5 Hrs a day, 30-45 minutes of music, infact whole 8 Hrs of cricket yesterday and it lasted over 3 days. I am loving. had been using Nokia 5800 with a sick touch and no features or customizations

It also gives download speed of max. 10kbps. Opera 9.5 & 10 are really slow to load pages even with turbo on (10 beta). Only viable option is using operamini or skyfire. Reply to my previous question will be helpful. Thanx.

nokia has good browsing tecno but lacks in tecno and music....
but htc good in all fileds but lacks in cam...
and samsung improving in all fileds..... i think u r looking for good music, software, cam, touch wiz better go for samsung omnia hd bec it has good pross and in build grapics can support all games and it can support all softwares in symbian witch was a good news and good with 8 mp cam.. and it has good sound quality tooooo i checked with my friend had which has dnse( digital natural surround engin)... so i recommend this is best.... if u have more money then u can go for satio bec it also comes with symbian but its a china make so i dont think its good...

Gaurav, 20 Dec 2009Also shiva can you play games using the qwerty pad and does... moreya u can play games using qwerty keypad but i dont think it supports all acceltrometer games i just checked small games like tycoon and 3d balls jusdt worked but i tried nfs but it dosent work am sorry to say this.... sonyerricson supp good in acc games....
but u can go for other java games it works perfect bec it has good grapics acc.... and more over it supports windows applications as welll
