Just want to ask other owners that my unit's slider is little shaky. if i just touch it on the left with out intention of opening it up it moves a little. for example if i want to just switch to life mode and press button on left , slider moves a little. Is this the problem with my unit or its like that only.it moves more from bottom.

i got the samsung omnia b7610 about a week ago for 20k in india...and i must say i'm pretty much impressed till now. Yes it's lil bulk and heavy and takes time to get used to, but it's an awesome piece of equipment..
camera quality is well balanced and the video recording is exceptional!!! All the features the phone offers for the price tag given.... i'd say i got the phone for a steal!!!

In continuation to my last post on B7610 in India...yes it comes withthe WM 6.1. For sll I have read and seen on relevent sites including this and speciality ones like xda developers... I care two hoots for WM 6.5 and shall await launch and stabilization of WM 7.0 as and when it happens ( Expected date 2nd Qtr 2010)

I see a lot of obvious excitement on these pages for the B7610. Allow me to clear some air... The Dealer Price for India is in the range of INR 21,500-21,800. This has been launched in a hush hush manner and limited quantities are available. As of now there is NO other handset that gives so many features at such a mind boggling price. It beats HTC black and blue on overall features which incidentally has been a very unfair company in India selling 2G radio versions of Diamonds and Pros at exorbitant prices. The Koreans have stuck to their basics in India that is international quality at best prices.
This has a build in 2GB memory called My Storage and supports upto 32 GB Micro SD. I purchased the same from Jaipur. Again it beats Touch Pro2 Black and Blue and SE X2 is just for an 8 MP shooter. Decide yourselves..
(My devices till date:- Nokia E-51 & E-71, HTC Touch Diamond & Touch Pro, Samsung Omnia Pro B7320 and Finally the B7610....The buck finally stops here as of now)just mentioning so as to inform the readers that the above comes from some experience..

i'm presently using the omnia II. I'm really looking forward to this phone. Is it released in SG yet? I heard it will come pre-loaded with winmo6.5 when launched in SG. Very promising design, nice videos on you tube on this. Looks really tough built and elegant for business use. its going to be hard to decide between this and xperia x2.

The samsung site shows this phone in the upcoming models. So when apparently will it be launched..
