However, I would prefer waiting for a month more to get my hands on a Win 6.5 version of this phone...hope the rates are not jacked up for the updated version ;-)

Im from bangalore. Got mine for 23,800 including vat. A very good handset. It comes with Win 6.1, Was expecting 6.5. !nd it has a video rec resolution of 640x480 not 720x4.. The box includes Windows cd, data cable, charger, headset, manual, stylus and a 2gb micro sd card. There is no tv out cable:(

Guya have any of you tried recording a call using VITO Audio Notes or Resco Audio Recorder?? does this handset support it?.

guys any info on wm6.5 update in india? i talked to samsung service centre, they are not even aware of the update. if i try to update thru NPS it says unsupported handset. I really need 720x480 video recording.

I just don't get what is going on with this handset. It appears to be freely available in the UK online but trying to get it from the high street stores is impossible. CPW website changes on a monthly basis, Phones4U have never heard of it and neither have Orange and O2.
Yet CPW have POS in store stating it's selling for £350.

Since it is not official ROM my phone may not be eligible for warranty, that's the reason i was looking at official ROM. gsmarena review for this phone clearly says its wm6.5.
