I purchased this phone 3 days ago. It's a great phone (I have used Ericsson T20s, Alcatel OT311, Nokia 3210, etc..). Gprs is working on a laptop computer. The battery is good. Only I want to know where I can download wallpapers, sounds and Java games. If somebody knows please write here because I think nobody knows wap page for samsung C100...

Here in Bulgaria this phone cost 315 lv. [about 160-170$]. I have it from 2-3 weeks and it's great phone. But i don't have software for my pc for the infrared port, yesterday i tried connection with se-t610 but it was failed. Except this, the phone is great, the colors r cool, the voice is excellent.
If anyone can tell me from where i can download software for the irda [infrared port] pls mail me.

I am in Indonesia and my personal opinion is : best signal, life batt is normal (2 day more) with 14 hours ON, key phone is OK, great color & sound, lightweigt. POOR things are : no cable sync data with PC, can't sync phonebook with Outlook, can't send phonenumbers with IR,annoying T-9 features, NO MMS. Yeah this is a cheap phone but this phone's menu is better than N6610 really !
Suggest : If u want to buy a low budget 65K color phone & poly sound, u got to buy it !

Bad phone - bad price. only 25 x 25 mm display. That sucks!
Buy Siemens M55 with Camera, MMS, Build-in handsfree,... for only € 100 more.

This is one fone I wont be buying soon. I'm still asking myself whats the use of a 65k screen with no MMS, or IR... please someone explain. In South Africa a better phone, SE T300, is much cheaper( $100)... This one however with fewer features( but more polyphonic tones) is more expensive($189). Samsung cant pull the wool over our eyes, I doubt this piece of shite will ship major units in South Africa.Thats my opinion:-)

a bad phone at all! anyone can tell me why the menu "name" is sooooooooooo sloooooooooow at the first activation (just after we turn the phone on!)remember that the battery life depends on the Service provider, and in Vietnam here, all the providers are f^cking shiiitts!!! try it, the battery life in Vietnam here only runs for maximum 2 days!!!

Got a C100 (unlocked) for £99 including a Virgin Sim a couple of Days ago. Battery showed full charge on start up, but I gave it an 8 hour charge anyway.
Used during the daytime for 2 days so far, experimenting with the settings, ringtones, wallpapers Texting etc and a few short call - no problems and battery still showing full.
Ringtones are very good, Phone menus are well set out and there semm to be a lot of settings that can be changed - study the manual!!.
Recepition no better or worse than Nokia 8210 or 3410 on O2 network (1 or 2 bars) at home. A nice touch is the service LED on top left of phone, this flashes when a sigal is available and also along with the ringtones in various colours. Phone is very well made put together and looks very nice, keys are good. Screen is nice and clear if a touch small - only real criticism is it is difficult to see in full sunlight - maybe adjust brightness and try again? Also no voice dialling.
To sum up - a very good phone with a lot of features for a very reasonable price. 8/10

hey, i recommend 6610 instead of C100, yeah, LCD 65K but worse than 4096 colors from 6610 and the menu is very very slow, have you touched it? if yes, you probably change ur mind! First, i intend to get C100 but now I got 6610! esp. you can hear FM radio at free time! and sure the battery life of C100 is very bad! Just only the cheaper price in Vietnam (2.6 mil?)
