Very nice solid phone, does everything that a cellphone was intended to do in the first place: call and text. east to use interface. Good entry level basic cellphone.

This is a bad phone, with very sad battery. Please believe me and tell all the people that you care about. I am never trying Samsung again.

Bought this cell from Karachi, Pakistan on 22 oct 2007 for PKR 2200 only.
Not bad, Yeah! it doesnt hav games feature, but with this i cant use its Alarm and calendar, may be because i m not used to with samsung or there is some problem, there is not any option for reminders, if some 1 know about it or how to use it then plz let me know ....
over all not bad, its response is slow, rings hav loud volume, but for sms i cant use vibration with sms alert, hav to choose either vibra or alert ...

bought that phone from 1 week by 50 USD it is good phone and i enabled GPRS so i started browsing and downloading tones and pictures

i just purchase this cell i think price vise its very good color cell phone but i feel that as i receive call, 1st bell rang very low and then slowly it come on its real voice.

Unbelievable! Bought this candy bar 3 weeks ago in a sealed, original box for Euro 30 and got additional Euro 30 on my SIM account, which means the carrier practically made me a present! Such a great one: battery lasts 4-5 days, the earpiece and loudspeaker volume are really higher than Nokia 1110i, you can hear the opposite side no matter how noisy your environment is, and you can feel the real touch of quality, although it's a cheapest Samsung on Earth! And what's most interesting, when/IF you got tired of it, you can easily sell it for Euro 30 at least. Sincere recommendations!

The c140 is driving me crazy. When the battery is low, the phone keeps on ringing and the light is always on I don't know why. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? and how can I turn off the warning ring and the light. Thanks

I can't open yahoo, I used XL-ID provider, that supports yahoo...
I can't downloads everything, just can downloads from samsung fun club....

And I bought it from MZ - so it comes with 'FREE MOBILE INSURANCE' =D (please check details with your MZ retailer) so I anyone snatch my cell phone - I'll get 'most' of my money back via insurance claim! =D after loosing 3 cell phones in last 2 months at gun point - this is the best choice I made!!! =D

I bought this phone on PAK Rs. 2300, its good with sleek design but i thnk samsung should have a support for themes. i get boared with just one theme color.

Well...yesterday only I bought this cell for 2300 Pakistani rs(around US$38) n i think this is the best cell in this price range.The luk and feel is good.Its very light weight,the colours and graphics are pretty decent and most important of all it does support GPRS(Used it for browsing/downloading).Nokia,Sonyericsson do not offer gprs in this price range.Speakerphone is quite loud and voice memo recording is low but clear.One good feature in dis cell is u can copy all contacts at a time from sim to phone and vice versa.The bad feautures are: The keypad is stiff and one cant just go on typing widout luking at the text as it may not type sum alphabets at first attempt b'coz of hardness.And i cudn't find the option for periodic sms alerts like other samsung sets.No java and no games. But remember,u can't get all the features at such a low price.
One more thing,within 24 hrs of use,a lill bit of colour is gone from the top maybe bcoz of a scratch or sumthing else which shows bad quality of its casing.
It has got mobile tracker but i cant say n e thing about it as i dun know much about how it works.
Overall its a very decent set in dis price range.
One question that arises is how durable this set is gonna be?

plz,anybody tell me how to activate its mobile tracker.
this phone is the cheap phone but no urdu languge.and i experience some problem from its speaker when i open its loudspeaker, the sound u get is not listenable.

The samsung C 140 has a peculiar problem. everytime it switches off , the clock stops. When switched on again, it asks whether you want to input time & date ( due to battery change--it says). And battery is never removed/ totally zero. Any solution?? pl mail to manisl@hotmail.com
