i bought this phone yesterday here in the philippines. it's a cheap but nice phone, and i think is more realiable than china phones. the battery is very good and lasts for 3-4 days if you are a heavy texter like me. i bought this phone because of its dual sim capability and its security features..you can password protect your files, inbox, phonebook, microSD card from the prying eyes of your wife or girlfriend...lol! the phone can play and record video, capture audio from FM radio broadcast which you can use as ringtones. built-in speaker is average but is has stereo bluetooth to pair with your bluetooth handset. You can change between two networks without rebooting the phone. But unlike dual-sim china phones, you can't reply rapidly to text messages from different networks. It takes time becoz you need to change network first by pressing the sim change button which is quite tedious. but i think samsung design their dual sim phones this way so as not to drain the battery. I used to own a China dual sim phone and I noticed that it has to be recharged almost everyday, although it's easier and faster to use the phone for texting and calling to different networks. yes, this phone has a bluetooth messenger. hope this answers some of the questions raised here. peace and prosperity to all!

I finally took the plunge and bought the phone and I'm not regretting it @ all. It's got it's setbacks like every other cell phone but for this price and battery life of 2 days, you can't go wrong. Saved me money on acquiring two new phones ;)

c3212 seems to fit for the money spent.. toggling between sim wihtout restarting or while sending or calling can be made with a small butt on the right side.
only draw back is camera is vga and without flash or even torch. otherwise .. so for so good..

Like other brands, there is no two call button? this is quite bad in this range (duos) why can't sumsum develop such tec? just we purchased c3212, it is very bad one.

Can you guys help me? Can the phone switch sim without restarting? I have read in this thread that there is no restarting. But the samsung guy in the phone store says it restarts. Thanks.

hi all i have always nokia phones but what happen to me to change to samsung phone..i have now c5212 it good in screen with good 2 sim and bad batery and nice voice when you talk to some one you can listen every word even in noice of street now i will to change to this new model ..i dont know if batery is good i dont to find same of c5212 tell me pleas about batery i dont like camera or music or java..im from algeria and we have a free call so i used my mobil for hours thanks

Yes, why was its 10hrs here, but 3.5hrs on samsung website. This is too bad, since i bought a samsung c3212 for this reason, for what i have seen on this site is 10hrs,not to happy now, cause its same as like other samsung dual sim, please correct your specs, its misleading buyers.

Not the best of Dual sim phones. Unreliable as it restarts while trying to sms or even on its own. Switch off without a warning. Voice not clear possibly poor radio. The D880 was more reliable.

hi frens its a very nice phone..we can change from sim 1 to sim 2 without restarting the phone..to do this simply press call button and press the side button(sim change button) automatically the sim1 and sim2 selector will change from sim1 to sim 2 and vice versa..buddy's try out this please..even for the messageing do the same..type the message and press sim button..it will change..i think the information is useful for the new users of this fone..bbye..

Hi Every body, this the worst mobile. I have purchased this mobile 5 days back and trust me i am going to throw it because when ever u want to call from the other sim u need to restart the phon and it takes very long time to restart the moble .....so if any one is planing to buy this plz plz dont buy it....

ph hav to be restarted for switching the sim for outgoing, battery back is not so good.rest of features are nice according to cost of the mobile
