SonyZ, 08 Feb 2010Thanks for the quick reply Michael. In the specs it's also ... morehaving a 3g phone means higher speed of downloading and uploading while using the phone, but 3g is not always present every time and at every place you go, neither do edge and gprs too!

well, for me, i'm not that kind of person who uses the phone's feature to go and surf the internet, i mean not always. because i use phones for calling, texting and with the addition of music playing and radio hearing, some stuff goes for shooting images or some apps for fun!

                    i think i won't be needing 3g features on a phone,atleast for now.

see, everyone has own opinions in having a cellphone.

go and evaluate yourself first on your needs and wants on a phone, then comes your budget then comes post sale user opinion.

choose a cellphone which best suits you!

                    cheers!

                    samsung rocks!

This is the pnone that will take touchscreen to the masses. This IS the game changer, and this is how the mobilephone will look ( form factor wise). Touch candybar is the from of the future. I think a restive touchscreen will probably end up costing less to produce than the regular keypad. And phone makers will love the software and app options that a touchscreen gives.

ss, 06 Feb 2010What is the difference between capacitive touchscreen and r... moreshort answer: the technology used in the screen to capture touch inputs.

Resistive uses the pressure of your finger whereas Capacitive uses the electricity of our body to sense "touch".

i have corby, and it rocks. when i saw it in one of the cellphone shops here in baguio city, philippines, i tried operating it and it found out that the touchscreen in CAPACITIVE. i swear. i does respond just by touching it. i used my nails and pen to see whether it supports it but to no avail, it didn't.

it uses capacitive technology like the corby so this phone now is the cheapest to have a capacitive display.
