the specs are wrong. it's 13 hrs of talk time not 3 hrs.

We can't load music file more then 120 coz there is 4 playlist & each playlist contain maximum of 30 file.

Hi everyone, Samsung C5212 is new in my country (Kenya) but it seems like a good deal. Can someone who has used the phone for a long time comment on the battery life pliz. I have heard one person complain that the battery does not serve for long. Thanks

MJ, 19 May 2010I bought a C5212 recently. It has only standby Dual SIM fea... morepls typ any number on screen, then press button on writ side of phone check the highligted netwok bar changin. then go back to u r mesg writ and send thx.

This is real dual sim dual standby mobile. There is one major problem of battery backup. It does not last enough as compared to other sony or nokia. Does anyone have any opinion or suggestion. One more thing there is no video player. You have to access the files again and again for playing the videos.

1) OneNAND downloader specifically for this mobile
2) A compatible flash cable (the USB data cable WON'T do, look for the flash cable for D880)
3) Latest firmware, which is C5212XBJA2
FLASHING:
- Use C: drive as an option in the flasher
- Choose both Master and Slave flash, and for both choose BIN + TFS.
- Choose the paths to the firmware files (.cla and .tfs) accordingly, for Master and Slave.
- Connect the cable (with its drivers installed)
- Select the correct COM port for the cable, can be seen in Device Manager
- Press START
- Press the power button briefly.
- Flash the mobile.

JM, 21 May 2010Can you please show me the image of the switch to use eithe... morefor call: you dont have to reboot, you just have to input the number first before pressing the button on the upper right of the phone (the one that you also use in rebooting)then you can see on your screen that it will shift from one sim to the other... just choose which sim you want to use then you can press call button...
for text message: you dont have to reboot as well, after pressing to "create message" you can then push the upper right button (the one that you also use in rebooting)of the phone then you can see on your screen that it will shift from one sim to the other... just choose which sim you want to use then you can continue your message..
THis phone is really nice..
