Hii every boby samsung user C5215 its a very good model // music , battery backup , applications superb cooool cell phone & one is camera atleast extended to 2 to 2.5 mgp & please buy the model for Dual sim user

Samsung C5212 is an excellent dual SIM mobile much much better than any China branded dual SIM mobile. If you are talking to person "A" on SIM1 and another person "B" is calling you on SIM2, then the other person "B" will get ringing tone on his mobile and you will get new phone call screen alongwith options to "Accept" or "Reject" the phone call. If you "Reject" the phone call, then other person "B" will get "Number is busy" audio message. If you "Accept" the phone call, then the second call of person "B" will be immediately connected and first call of person "A" will turn into "HOLD". The first person can't listen anything until you disconnect second call of person "B".

I am a normal mobile user using both SIMs active and my C5212 battery lasts to more than 50 hours.These are my daily usage:
Phone calls : 2 or 3 calls daily (less than 2 minutes per call)
Opera Mini usage more than 60 minutes
Text Messages/ Emails : Average 5 SMS and 10 minutes Email checking
Audio MP3 Player : More than 30 minutes
MP4 Videos : Under 30 minutes
FM Radio : More than 30 minutes
Bluetooth : not regular use
Timer application: More than 60 minutes daily
Battery needs recharge after every 2 days . There are 5 bars in battery icon. If I am not using mobile then the "last bar" of battery will last long more than 24 hours.
To jaysingh:
YouTube streaming is not supported on C5212 mobile. Use "VUClip" website on Wap browser of C5212 to download YouTube videos on your mobile. The web address is vuclip.com

Can anybody say the correct talk time in hours bcos in samsung site it is 10 hours mentioned but in gsmarena it is only 3 hours. users of this mobile pls reply for how many days battery longs.

Yes when you talking with Sim1, you get call waiting from sim2 (if any one calling on sim2 in same time).
Only samsung and fly mobile giving these facility.

Does anybody using Samsung C5212 phone will be able to clear my doubt. Whether u will get call waiting in another sim when u r using or talking in the other sim. ie sim 1 and sim 2. ? or switch off message will cme for the person calling to the other sim. tnx

I used Samsung C5212 for a while now, and I think it is a good phone and worths buying.
How can I set the preferred network ? While roaming, I need to stick to one operator, but the phone switches between operators frequently. I need to specify the preferred network similar to other phones but cannot find a place to do so.

Why all of you not using "Search" feature? Afterall, this is not rocket science (to call or message from second SIM without restart mobile). For all of you, this is my reply:
"To send messages or phone calls, just check the "Highlighted" signal strength icon on upper left corner of screen. Suppose, SIM1 icon is highlighted. Type your message and select "Send" option which will send the message from SIM1 number. If you want to send message from SIM2 number, then type your message and press SIM selection button once (located on right side of mobile) which will highlight the signal strength icon of SIM2. Now, select "Send" option which will send the message from SIM2 number without restart your mobile.
Same is for voice calls. Select the contact entry from phonebook or type the phone number. If you want to make voice call from SIM1 and SIM1 signal strength icon is also highlighted then just press "Send" key. If you want to make voice call from SIM2, then press SIM selection button once which will highlight SIM2 icon. Now press "Send" key which will make the voice call using SIM2 number without restart your mobile."
