when you recieve a txt message there is no way of changing the noise but i want a song when i get a txt pls i hate this noise

Dean, 10 Jan 2010Does anybody know how to turn the keypad tone to silent for... moreDean - I finally found it - in idle mode, touch the up/down button on the left side of the phone and it'll show a keypay volume slider that you can take all the way down to zero. Phew what a relief mine was driving me crackers.

You have to go to settings then to phone settings and change from normal to silent for whilst you text then back to normal to ring. Silly uh!!!

Nothing in manual to help figured out by going to Settings -> Phone Profiles -> Options -> Edit.
The different tones/settings can be only changes from here

Gayle, 22 Dec 2009Can someone PLEASE tell me if it is possible to get a diffe... morethere are several ways to do this, 1 u can get ringtones off ur pc and store them onto ur phone with the USB cable if u have one - 2 u can go to the ringtone option on ur phone and download it from there it is very easy to do.

Can someone PLEASE tell me if it is possible to get a different ring tone onto this phone? It has ONE option. i can't believe it! i need VERY simple instructions please.

You can buy these on the Telecom New Zealand's XT network. Great phone but screen cracked and trying to fix it... ...Help would be appreciated!

All research said has vibrating feature, but I have found, only when on silent. So if its on, its either ringtone, or silent/vibrate, no just silent feature. If I am wrong, please help me! I want silent AND vibrate AND normal ring. So I can't have on silent (as vibrating makes a noise)

My phone has a R in the top right hand corner next to the volume symbol. i cannot ring receive calls txt or receive txts and it comes up with emergency calls only how do i change this. i have also tried to reset the fone but still does not work
