sms capacity is very limited. while C6112 is a simple and more or less a satisfactory phone, it has limited capacity for sms messages. A total of 300 messages for both sims (whether you are using the internal phone's memory or the 8gb external memory to store them). But, what makes it worse is that its memory status reads the existance of unexisting messages. Even if you empty your messages and you restart it, it keeps saying that a number of messages exist in the folder My Folder (which is a default locked folder of the phone). Therefore it does not even have the capacity of 300 text messages really but much less.

its a cheap phone, u cant expect much from it like iphone or HTC's but as a secondary phone its rly good.
anyway thats just my opinion.

Suppose i am on a call with the slider up...is it possible to close the slider without the call getting disconnected...i knew there was an option in my previous samsung phone..but this seems to be lacking in it.. :(

you see there is a small button in the middle side of this phone which manually convert from sim1 to sim 2.

please dont buy this phone. It has good look and camera quality and sound, but it is damn slow, very slow internet ,hangs often,youtube videos not supportable,overalla rubbish cell.........i am getting annoyed of this.please dont but this...............

hii frnds,i used samsung c6112.i bought it 3-4 months before.it stores application/games nly in phone memory,i.e. u can store max 8-10 apps/games simultaneously.when u download any application from internet it restarts every time.many apps/games r not working in this phone.internet speed is too slow.only basic version of opera we can use in it.active dual sim is the only good feature of this phone.now i stop using it and start using my 3 yrs old nokia 3110c.nokia speed is too good than c6112.nokia is the best.

Plllllllllllllllllllsssssssssssss guy il tell u not to buy samsung mobile bull shit i bought this mobile when it first released india after that i ve reinstalled 4 time the os corrupted i gave to samsung service but they itself saying this model comes with lot of problem now display strip is gone my money is gone like a water pl i suggest not to go with samsung they are cheating the peoples with worst quality products

Bought the phone. It's OK. Only 1 question.
Before this I had Samsung D880. There was function, when I was calling from my SIM2, when call ended, SIM cards automatically changed to SIM1. SIM1 was the primary and always changed from SIM2 to SIM1, after SIM2 was used. I loved that function. But in this phone I need to switch back from SIM2 to SIM1, when call ends. :(
In this model there isn't functions like in D880 or I just can't find it?
