Good phone but not supports for many app.. not enough app in Samsung app.. more Imp not enough internal memory.. internet quite k.. camera ok.. sound effects awesome only in ear phone..

Samsung Star 2 Duos is the worst phone I had ever used. That's why it has been withdrawn from the market. I had purchased this phone in January and within 3 months I had started seeing problems and sending the phone to the service center. The Service center people are worthless fellows who does not know how to rectify the problem, and charges some phantom amount saying this or that part needs to be replaced and is not included in the warranty.. So U r going to pay a lumpsome apart from the cost of the phone.... believe me this will happen through your lifetime...U use Samsung products...
I am frustated with the Samsung product and the service....Just acting like throat sleeters...

In using mobile phones since 194 (yes one of the very first) I think it is safe to say this is the worst mobile phone I have ever used. We jokingly refer to it in the office as 'the phone from hell' and although we bought several of these for employees (we are a travel business and frequently in the field all over the world - 2 sim cards are normal, hence the desire for a 2 sim phone) yet to a man all people prefer to retain their two phones rather than use this heap of rubbish. It is a device and design where at every juncture of UI choice, the designers have gone wrong; making it the most stressful, irritating phone I have ever used.
Where to start? I don't have the energy to waste listing the hundreds of faults we have encountered, here are just a few doozys:
1/ The phone unlocks itself and dials random number/sends random texts. The screen is so ultra-sensitive, the the action of your legs *through* your trousers unlocks the screen (any old swipe will unlock it, unlike the specific swipe required by an iPhone) and then further swipes will activate calls/messages
2/ Sending texts is a nightmare. The WORST 'T9' style predictive input coupled with the super-sensitive screen makes it a real chore (try the Nokia as alternative)
3/ The ultra-sensitive screen means that fat faces like mine will dismiss or put callers on hold unexpectedly when you smile (because your cheek brushes the screen)
4/ None of our existing bluetooth headsets work with it
5/ In just the opposite to the too-sensitive screen, frequently you can push an on screen button numerous times -- for example to answer or end a call, or worst - to take a photograph -- and nothing happens
It doesn't synch with iSync; it has useless software of its own for synchronising, the layout of the 'apps' screens is ludicrous -- dozens of utterly useless apps obfuscating the few that you actually need on page 2,3... This list is simply endless -- I haven't even warmed up here...
Wasted enough of my time both here and on this - perhaps the worst piece of technology I have ever owned. My advice is avoud like plague.
Why can't anyone make a dual sim 'dumb phone' ??

It is a beautiful phone. Very very good battery back-up, very good video playback resolution, very goog screen resolution, average internet speed and average touch response. Dolby 5.1 sound system adds extra facility.
Really a good phone in view of today's various smart phones
