I am planning to buy this hand set, before t... moreSocial networks are catered for but the handset ISN'T 3G.
It's active standby so it's actively monitoring both networks. You select with the side button whether you want to reply via SIM 1 or SIM 2 and that's what it will do unless you switch it over. You'll receive SMS from both networks regardless of what you're set to. You can customise each screen with a colored background and different wallpaper so you can tell at a quick glance what SIM card you are actively using.
Each sms received will have a little sim card pic to the left with either a 1 or 2 to tell you which card the sms came in on. Irrespective of what card it arrived on, your reply will always go out on whatever you have the selector switched to. I have had the handset a week and it's very advanced in features for its price. Recommended. Is very similar to Blackberry 8520 curve in looks, key style, and optical trackpad. Hope I've helped answer your queries.

well i got this phone,2weeks back..the phone may be smartly priced ,but its a bit overhyped about its features.
look and the build is descent enough,but the phone is real slow.specially when browsing using the inbuild browser,best option is to download opera mini 4.3.
push mail feature is another annoying feature in this phone,if you sync your email it will take ages to sync all your previous emails.and make the phone slow.
disappointing keypad,not easy to type really fast as the keys are a little shaky.not firm enough.
as promised the yahoo messenger works fine.but takes good 5minutes to get connected.
palringo messenger is not good enough.
very poor camera quality.
good audio quality.
so definitely not worth a buy even for 4000rs,
motorola ex115 definitely a better option.
or just chip in 1000rs more and go for a better phone.

danny, 18 May 2011contact your service centre people -but what makes differen... moreYes Danny..Does not make much difference. But only in case of driving when there is traffic noise then some time I missed hearing ring as that ws coming only in speakers but not in headset.
Does ring comes properly in earphone with your chat322?

joydhk, 16 May 2011my phone suddenly switched off... it doesn't started yet...... morego to your samsung authorized service centre -if u hv 1 yr warranty, then service will be free to your handset. hope that helps.

was not happy with the handsfree that came with the package earbuds dont fit to ears, so had to replace it with the samsung handsfree -Samsung Headphones Handsfree for C3300 s8530 wave 2 ii -website which has the similar handsfree picture -http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Samsung-Headphones-Handsfree-C3300-s8530-wave-2-ii-/130480127315
So after changing the handsfree finally settled -new earbud samsung from Wave2 works fine with this chat @322 model and good stero sound.
Some sound clarify issues faced when calling to samsung to samsung model compared to nokia. This is my true experience with this phone.

Its NOT a real DUAL SIM ACTIVE cellphone because when 1 simcard is in use
and you are talking ,the other simcard is not reachable if anybody calls the other number.
so it just SWITCHES between simcards and it does not act like Samsung B5722 or C5212 or E2152
because these models are able to handle both simcards simultaneously,in other words when you are talking
on 1 of your simcards and someone calls the other simcard you can see and answer the line you are not talking on!
but in ch@t 322 its not possible and ch@t 322 blocks signal for the simcard which you are not talking on!
